Built on the 6 nm process, and based on the Rembrandt graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 12 Ultimate. This ensures that all modern games will run on Radeon 680M. Additionally, the DirectX 12 Ultimate capability guarantees support for hardware-raytracing, variable-rate shading and more, in upcoming video games. It features 768 shading units, 48 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. The card also has 12 raytracing acceleration cores. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 2000 MHz, which can be boosted up to 2200 MHz. Its power draw is rated at 50 W maximum.
