The Radeon X550 HyperMemory was a graphics card by ATI, launched on July 1st, 2005. Built on the 110 nm process, and based on the RV370 graphics processor, in its RV370 PRO variant, the card supports DirectX 9.0. Since Radeon X550 HyperMemory does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV370 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 74 mm² and 107 million transistors. It features 4 pixel shaders and 2 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). ATI has paired 256 MB DDR2 memory with the Radeon X550 HyperMemory, which are connected using a 128-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 400 MHz, memory is running at 250 MHz.
Being a single-slot card, its power draw is not exactly known. Display outputs include: 1x DVI, 1x VGA, 1x S-Video. Radeon X550 HyperMemory is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 1.0 x16 interface.
