The Tegra 2 GPU was a mobile graphics chip by NVIDIA, launched on June 3rd, 2010. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the Tegra 2 graphics processor, in its T20MGS-SHP-A3 variant, the chip does not support DirectX. Since Tegra 2 GPU does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. It features 4 pixel shaders and 4 vertex shaders, 4 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. Due to the lack of unified shaders you will not be able to run recent games at all (which require unified shader/DX10+ support). NVIDIA has paired 256 MB DDR2 memory with the Tegra 2 GPU, which are connected using a 32-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 300 MHz, which can be boosted up to 400 MHz, memory is running at 333 MHz. Its power draw is rated at 20 W maximum. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. Rather it is intended for use in laptop/notebooks and will use the output of the host mobile device.
