The FireStream 9370 was a professional graphics card by AMD, launched on June 23rd, 2010. Built on the 40 nm process, and based on the Cypress graphics processor, in its Cypress XT GL variant, the card supports DirectX 11.2. The Cypress graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 334 mm² and 2,154 million transistors. It features 1600 shading units, 80 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 4 GB GDDR5 memory with the FireStream 9370, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 825 MHz, memory is running at 1150 MHz (4.6 Gbps effective). Being a dual-slot card, the AMD FireStream 9370 draws power from 1x 8-pin power connector, with power draw rated at 225 W maximum. Display outputs include: 1x DisplayPort 1.1. FireStream 9370 is connected to the rest of the system using a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 interface. The card measures 267 mm in length, 111 mm in width, and features a dual-slot cooling solution.
