AAEON Unveils AI and Edge Computing Solutions Powered by NVIDIA

AAEON, a leading developer of embedded AI and edge-computing solutions, today announced it is unveiling several new rugged embedded platforms—augmenting an already extensive lineup of AAEON AI edge-computing solutions powered by the NVIDIA Jetson platform. The new AAEON products provide key interfaces needed for edge computing in a small form factor, making it easier to build applications for all levels of users, from makers to more advanced developers for deployments in the field.

AAEON also introduced a new version of the popular BOXER-8120AI, now featuring the Jetson TX2 4 GB module, providing an efficient and cost-effective solution for AI edge computing with 256 CUDA cores delivering processing speeds up to 1.3 TFLOPS."Partnering with an AI and edge computing leader like NVIDIA supports our mission to deliver more diversified embedded products and solutions at higher quality standards," said Alex Hsueh, Senior Director of AAEON's System Platform Division. "These new offerings powered by the Jetson platform complement our existing lineup of rugged embedded products, providing an optimal combination of performance and price in a smaller form factor for customers to easily deploy across a full range of applications."

AAEON Announces BOXER-6841M Edge-AI PC

AAEON, a leading developer of advanced industrial solutions and AI hardware, launches the BOXER-6841M, a box PC built for both edge AI and machine vision applications. The controller is available in six different SKUs, with four AI models featuring PCIe(x16) slots for the installation of Nvidia GPUs, and two machine vision models fitted with a pair of PCIe(x8) slots for frame grabber cards.

Different BOXER-6841M models are built to support either Intel Core i desktop or Xeon server grade CPUs, and they all boast up to 32GB of DDR4 ECC or non-ECC SODIMM memory and two 2.5" drive bays. The four AI models can be fitted with up to 250W GPUs. To support the high power requirements of these GPUs, AAEON has designed the BOXER-6841M with two 12Vdc power inputs. This innovative feature lowers costs and makes the system more stable by reducing the level of wasted heat that would be produced by a single 24V input.

AAEON Announces the BOXER-6640 IPC

AAEON, an award-winning developer of embedded systems, is pleased to announce the release of the BOXER-6640, an embedded controller with a 6th or 7th Generation Intel Core Desktop Processor and support for DDR4 memory.

The BOXER-6640 is purpose built for factory automation and machine vision applications. With two LAN ports, four USB3.0 ports, and three USB2.0 ports, it can be connected to a range of cameras and sensors, and its 8-bit DIO enables it to control connected systems based on digital inputs. As it also has a VGA port and two further combined HDMI and DP ports for dual display output, this controller can easily serve as the hub of an effective HMI solution.

AAEON's FWS-2360 is The Network Appliance You've Been Waiting For

AAEON, an ASUS company and a leading developer of network solutions, releases the FWS-2360, a desktop network security appliance with the added assurance of Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT) and the speed and efficiency of fiber cable ports. Compact and highly extendable, the ready-to-go white box solution is tailor made for SOHO businesses, domestic networks, and vCPE and edge applications.

In addition to its pair of fiber/copper SFP GbE ports are four conventional GbE ports and two Mini-card slots to accommodate WiFi and 4G LTE expansion. The system's inbuilt bypass function also ensures that network traffic will continue to flow in the event of software complications or loss of power. Further expansion capabilities are provided by an mSATA socket and a SATA III Port with a 2.5" HDD Bay, giving customers a choice of mass storage possibilities.

AAEON, an ASUS Company, Unveils World's Most Advanced COM Express Type 10 Module

AAEON, a global leader in embedded computing systems, launches the NANOCOM-KBU, the world's first COM Express Type 10 board to be powered by a 7th Gen Intel Core U Processor. With its powerful CPU, the trailblazing NANOCOM-KBU has onboard 4GB DDR4 memory and a graphics engine that supports 4K applications.

In addition to its Core processor, the NANOCOM-KBU boasts an upgraded embedded controller structure with a real-time interrupt for faster response rates, and it addresses a customer demand for power control and battery management systems. The board's I2C bus also supports a range of IC formats, making it easier for end users to integrate the module with their own custom-made carrier boards. The AAEON NANOCOM-KBU features a wide operating temperature range of -40oC to 85oC, 5V/12V CD input support, a 1GbE LAN port, eight USB2.0 and two USB3.0 ports, two SATA 2 interfaces, and four PCI-E expansion slots.
