Altec Lansing introduced a lineup of party speakers, portable speakers, and kids-safe headphones at the 2023 International CES. The stall had a small selection of these in the new "wildlife camo" pattern. It includes two of the company's "everything proof" Hydra series wireless party speakers that pack powerful stereo+woofer speakers with a high degree of tuning to match the Hi-Fi systems of the old; and an internal lithium battery designed to last almost all day long. These speakers double up as power-banks, so you can recharge your smartphones, tablets, or ultraportable notebooks. The lineup also included palm-sized portable speakers, and a pair of new kids-safe headphones models.

Altec Lansing adds a new series to their growing line of true wireless (TWS) earphones with the addition of three brand new models announced today at CES 2023. The HydraBuds, HydraBuds Sport, and HydraBuds ANC will make up the new Altec Lansing HydraBud series, a new line of TWS earphones. The all-new HydraBuds are compact, waterproof and affordable earphones that come in a range of colors. Altec Lansing is cranking up the performance of its line of portable, all-weather Bluetooth speakers with the upcoming release of the Super LifeJacket - the first product in the series featuring omni-directional sound and beefed-up bass as well as a category-first IP68 rating validating its ability to survive indefinite under-water submersion without damage. Taiwanese heavyweight ASUS has now rolled out in the US its newest U Series ultra-thin laptop, the U32U(-ES21) featuring a 13.3-inch (1366 x 768) LED-backlit display and an AMD 1.65 GHz E-450 APU with Radeon HD 6320 graphics.

ASUS' machine is one inch thick and has a hairline aluminum cover, 4 GB of RAM, a 320 GB hard drive, a 0.3-megapixel webcam, Altec Lansing speakers, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3-in-1 card reader, a HDMI output, and an 8-cell battery enabling up to 10 hours of operation. Even as Ivy Bridge-powered notebooks are weeks, or even months away, biggies like HP have their designs in order. HP even posted promotional videos of some of its notebooks on YouTube, including in three new Pavilion lines: dv4, dv6, and dv7. The dv4-5000 is a 14-incher with 1366x768 pixels resolution, Core i7-3610QM (2.30 GHz) processor, up to 8 GB memory, GeForce GT 630M 2 GB DDR3 graphics, and up to 1 TB of HDD space.

The dv6-7000 packs a 15.6-inch screen with up to 1366x768 pixels resolution, the same i7-3610QM chip, GeForce GT 630M or GT 650M graphics, up to 2 TB of HDD space, and a little more connectivity than the dv4-5000. Lastly, there's the dv7-7000, with 17.3-inch screen with up to 1920x1080 pixels resolution, GeForce GT 650M graphics, up to 2 TB HDD space, and even more connectivity options.
