EK Launches New Angled Mounting Brackets for 120/140mm Fan Mounting Holes

EK, the EU-based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is introducing new L-shaped brackets for all current FLT series products. The EK-Loop Angled Bracket enables users to mount the FLT-style combo units or reservoirs to any 120 mm fan mounting holes in a perpendicular manner. This will allow more airflow to freely pass through the case and offer new mounting options that would otherwise be unsupported by the case itself.

EK-Loop Angled Brackets
The EK-Loop Angled Brackets can be mounted to 120 mm (105 mm hole spacing) or 140 mm (125 mm hole spacing) fan mounting holes. The bracket allows you to mount the FLT series products to your case, fans, or radiators in a perpendicular (at a 90-degree angle) alignment. Additionally, you can use the long or the short side of your FLT product for additional mounting options by rotating the product that is being mounted.

Intel LGA1851 to Retain Cooler Compatibility with Select LGA1700 Socket Coolers

Azza has introduced its new Cube 240 and Cube 360 liquid AIO coolers, compatible with Intel's upcoming LGA1851 socket for Arrow Lake processors. The new LGA1851 socket offers more contact pins than the previous LGA1700 socket, but it maintains the same dimensions and mounting spacing, allowing many existing coolers to remain compatibility. As we see with the latest Reddit post of the Azza Cube 360 installation manual, the LGA1851 socket will retain cooler compatibility with the current LGA1700 socket. For users planning to upgrade to the upcoming Arrow Lake platform, the cooler installation will be the least of their worries if their mounting brackets are compatible.

However, one notable change with LGA1851 is the higher maximum dynamic pressure, signifying increased mounting pressure from CPU coolers. But that only sometimes leads to new mounting mechanisms for coolers. In addition to Azza, Noctua's coolers, like NH-U12, have also confirmed signs of Arrow Lake support, as you can see here.

EK Goes Outside the Box With New Pass-Through PCI Expansion Slot

EK, the world-renowned manufacturer of premium water-cooling equipment, is introducing the specialized PCI expansion slot cover, the EK-Loop PCI Bracket Pass-Through. This cleverly designed PCI bracket provides an efficient solution for PC enthusiasts seeking to elevate their custom water-cooling experience by providing seamless connectivity for external cooling solutions, such as external radiators. With the EK-Loop PCI Bracket Pass-Through, users can maximize the potential of their water-cooling setup without being limited by the case size.

This specialized PCI expansion slot cover boasts two integrated pass-through fittings and a convenient cable management hole, ensuring a tidy and organized setup. With two G1/4" ports on each side, users can choose their preferred tubing type and size, granting them complete control over their water-cooling configuration. Specifically designed for this PCI expansion slot cover, the integrated pass-through adapter fittings ensure a secure and reliable connection. The cable management hole, equipped with a rubber gasket, protects cables from friction damage as they pass through the metal gap on the bracket.

EK Introduces Shifted Vertical GPU Mounting Bracket

EK, the leading computer cooling solutions provider, releases a vertical GPU mounting bracket designed specifically for cases with closed-off PCI-E expansion slots (with horizontal bars in-between). The EK-Loop Vertical GPU Holder - Shifted, like its previous variant used for open expansion slot cases, uses a patent-pending solution with two ATX motherboard mounting points to additionally secure the graphics card. This unique holder is not just implementing patent-pending technologies but also thicker materials compared to other similar solutions currently on the market.

Displaying your liquid-cooled graphics card or even the standard massive air cooler is something that became more popular over the years. One way to do this is to use the special aftermarket brackets that allow mounting the GPU vertically if the case is not already equipped with vertical PCIe slots. However, the user is often facing issues with how these solutions work since they don't offer enough support, allowing the GPU to move around. Things can be even more challenging when dealing with liquid cooling and installing fittings and tubing to a vertically placed GPU, not to mention trying to ship a PC with a vertically mounted GPU.

Chinese Manufacturer ProArtist Solves AM4 CPU Mounting Problem with New IFE2 Bracket

The AMD consumer platform has long used PGA design chips, and this is no different with the AM4 platform. While this design reduces motherboard costs it comes with an unfortunate downside, PGA processors have a habit of sticking to the heatsink when attempting to remove or replace your heatsink. This problem is so commonplace that AMD has published guides online outlining the correct heatsink removal process which involves "twisting the CPU cooler clockwise and counterclockwise to loosen the seal between the heatsink and the lid of the CPU".

Chinese manufacturer ProArtist has created an ingenious solution, the IEF2 AM4 CPU mounting bracket. The bracket replaces the included mounting hardware on motherboards replacing it with spacers secured to a metal mounting place which heatsinks can then be attached to. This bracket ensures that the CPU won't be damaged when removing heatsinks. The bracket is non-standard so only compatibility with ProArtist coolers such as the DESSERTS3 is guaranteed. The IEF2 AM4 CPU mounting bracket is available only in China from Taobao for less than 5 USD.

BitFenix Introduces the Alchemy 3.0 ARGB GPU Bracket

BitFenix today announced an accessory for your graphics cards' safety, whilst adding some bling to your build. The Alchemy 3.0 ARGB GPU Bracket is little more than a support for your graphics card which installs in your PC case and provides physical support to prevent sagging and other problems that may arise from deploying a graphics card with a high-performance, heavyweight custom cooling solution (it literally supports graphics cards with weights going up to 7.5 Kg and 80-120 cm long).

The Alchemy 3.0 ARGB GPU Bracket features ARGB lighting which users can control and customize to their liking, and the 18 available mounting holes ensure maximum compatibility regardless of your graphics card. It also comes with three different extension holders, sizing up at 45 mm, 80 mm and 120 mm. The GPU bracket will take up three free PCI slots on your build, though, so keep that in mind if you're planning on using this.
