Elgato Announces Their New Portable Thunderbolt 3 Mini Dock at CES 2018

Elgato today announced Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Mini Dock, a groundbreaking solution that brings the industry-leading reliability and performance of Thunderbolt 3 to a portable dock form factor. Featuring HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3, and gigabit Ethernet ports, Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Mini Dock eliminates the need for four separate adapters without compromising data bandwidth or power delivery. Up to 40 Gbps throughput guarantees that every port operates reliably at full performance, regardless of what is connected to the other ports.

Elgato 4K60 Pro Capture Card Lets You Record 4K Footage at 60 FPS Flawlessly

Elgato Thunderbolt Dock Goes On Sale

Elgato Systems has today expanded its Thunderbolt-supporting product portfolio through the release of the Thunderbolt Dock. Seen below, this 'all-in-one' dock measures 17.8 x 8 x 2.5 cm and includes two Thunderbolt connectors, three USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, one HDMI 1.4 output (to drive up to 2560x1600-pixel displays), plus a microphone input and an audio output.

Elgato's Thunderbolt Dock comes bundled with a Thunderbolt cable and costs $229.95/€219.95.

Elgato Introduces the Thunderbolt Drive+ Portable SSD

Elgato today launched the Thunderbolt Drive+, a portable storage solution that houses a solid state drive and features both Thunderbolt and USB 3.0 connectivity. This new drive measures 83 x 21 x 131 mm. it weighs 270 grams, has an IP64-rated (dust and water splash resistant) metal enclosure, and delivers transfer speeds of up to 420 MB/s.

The Thunderbolt Drive+ comes in 256 GB and 512 GB versions which are priced at $499.95/€499.95 and $899.95/€899.95, respectively.

Elgato Starts Shipping its Thunderbolt SSDs

Germany-based TV and video solutions provider Elgato has today announced that it begun rolling out its CES 2012-unveiled Thunderbolt SSDs. Measuring 83 x 21 x 131 mm, these portable solid state drives feature a rock-solid metal enclosure, they include a Thunderbolt port (for both power and data delivery), and offer transfer speeds of up to 270 MB/s.

The Thunderbolt SSD line includes 120 GB and 240 GB models priced at $430 / 400 Euro and $700 / 650 Euro, respectively.

Elgato Preps its own Thunderbolt-supporting External Solid State Drive

German TV tuner maker Elgato has today announced an external solid state drive featuring Thunderbolt connectivity. Known simply as the Thunderbolt SSD, Elgato's drive measures 83 x 21 x 131 mm, it weights 270 grams, has a 'rock-solid' metal enclosure, and is capable of transfer speeds of up to 270 MB/s.

The Thunderbolt SSD will ship next month in 120 GB ($430) and 240 GB ($700) capacities.
