Enermax Unveils Thermal Conductive Coated CPU Coolers

After the successful launch of the ETS-T40 series, Enermax now presents a new line of CPU Coolers in the series, the ETS-T40-Black Twister (ETS-T40-BK) and ETS-T40-White Cluster (ETS-T40-W). The new lineup not only inherits the superior performance of the ETS-T40 series with patented technologies, but also features an attractive heat sink decked out in a stunning coat, increasing the options and appeal of the ETS-T40 series family.

Black Twister and White Cluster are available in midnight black and arctic white colors, respectively. Both models employ a unique TCC (Thermal Conductive Coating) to create better velocity of thermal transference and prevent oxidation on the contact surface. ETS-T40-Black Twister features a circular blue LED PWM fan for a mesmerizing presentation. On the other hand, ETS-T40-White Cluster is equipped with the white LED fan with the unique PWM APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) control which offers 3 peak RPM options to satisfy the needs of consumers who prefer manual adjustability.

ENERMAX Launches Five New Fan Models

ENERMAX is pleased to launch their latest five fan models along with their new patented technology, APS (Adjustable Peak Speed) Control. As the name implies, the peak speed of these fans can be adjusted as you prefer, and the speed will be regulated automatically by pulse-width modulation (PWM) or by an integrated thermal sensor after selecting the particular RPM range.

While the current Twister Series have been introduced into the market for more than 5 years, ENERMAX decided to refresh the series by adding the new Twister Advance series offering three different RPM modes which can be selected with a small switch at the fan hub. Users can then easily adapt the ENERMAX fans for various applications. For instance, the new Cluster Advance 12cm version fan runs within the ranges of 500 to 1200, 500 to 1500 or 500 to 1800 RPM, so that users can select the best combination for their chassis. Other features such as the patented Twister Bearing, carved halo frame and batwing blades are still retained to offer users the best cooling performance.

Enermax Power Supplies Support Forthcoming Haswell CPUs

Intel has just released more details about the new Haswell processors. It sets new benchmarks in terms of energy efficiency. The new C6 and C7 states are able to reduce the CPU power consumption to just 0.05A while previous Ivy Bridge processors draw up to ten times more minimum power.

But the positive progress of the CPU technology is subject to certain restrictions, because only few power supplies will be able to deliver stable voltages at such low loads. End users are therefore groping in the dark with no clues if their own power supply will be compatible with the new energy functions of Intel Haswell CPUs. PSU manufacturers usually do not state the possible minimum load of their products.
