Enermax showed off the ELC-120, one of its first closed-loop (self-contained) CPU liquid coolers. While the cooler looks very similar to several other products in its class, Enermax claims to have dropped in some innovations of its own, such as a unique copper micro-channel base, which improves heat dissipation to the coolant, a powerful ceramic bearing pump for higher coolant flow, and Enermax' very own 120 mm Twister Bearing fan, that's silent, and comes with a very long life. The ELC-120 supports all current CPU socket types, Intel LGA775-thru-LGA2011, and AMD AM2-thru-FM1.

Triathlor will cover the most popular wattage ranges from 350 to 700 watts and will be available as non-modular and as modular version. The new series profits from the big technological progress of the Enermax research and development department during the last years. Quality, stability, safety - in all of these three categories Triathlor will take a leading position. Therefore, the new PSU series will have a big potential to continue the line of great classics from Enermax. The market introduction is scheduled for the second half of the year 2012.

With the successful market introduction of the CPU cooler range in 2011, Enermax demonstrated its know-how in the field of PC cooling. Behind the scenes, the manufacturer is already working on a further extension of his product portfolio. At CeBIT, Enermax will reveal the first results of its research and development department and present the first prototype of a new liquid cooler.

New Enermax Entry-Level Cases

During the last months, Enermax has also expanded its position in case market. Models like the Midi Tower Hoplite or the flagship case Fulmo GT have set new benchmarks and are recommended by hardware magazines around the globe.

CeBIT visitors will have the chance to preview the new entry-level class from Enermax including models like the Staray Silence or the plain and compact Midi Tower Ostrog (Pictured Below). Apart from that, the manufacturer will display a prototype of the Hoplite GT, a Full Tower version of the successful Hoplite case. It is dedicated to real hardware and gaming enthusiasts.

Enermax offers a wide range of power supplies for various applications and target groups, starting with the entry-level series NAXN right through to the flagship series MaxRevo and Platimax. Following the demands of partners and end users, the premium manufacturer now adds two new models to its offer:

While the MaxRevo 1200W (EMR1200EWT) is designed to meet highest performance and efficiency standards of hardware enthusiasts, the 80 PLUS Bronze certified NAXN 650W (ENM650AWT-B) will strengthen Enermax' position in the competitive segment of budget power supplies for gamers.

With the ever-shrinking laptops of today, space constrains mean that each component on the logic board has lesser board space, as is the case with audio. The cylindrical capacitors and FETs on PC motherboards are reduced to weaker surface-mount ones to conserve board space, on laptop logic boards. Audio quality takes a beating. Hence there's a sizable market for USB audio devices that provide better audio for laptops. Enermax' entry into it is the DreamBass AP001, a 2-channel USB audio device. It is designed to look like a vacuum tube that gives it a classy analog amp look.

In reality, it is completely digital. At the heart of it is a VIA VT1620A USB 2.0 2-channel HD audio CODEC, which provides stereo output with 24-bit resolution and 96 kHz sample-rate. It has a signal-noise ratio of 80~90 dBA, which is not much of a departure from most laptops' HDA CODECs, if it isn't for the MOSFET-based amplifier circuit packed into the DreamBass AP001, that's capable of 80Hz/+6dB Bass. The device features a 3.5 mm stereo jack and mic input. Enermax also has a variant called the AP001E, which includes earphones that have 10 mm drivers, 95 dBA SNR, and 32 ohm impedance. The DreamBass AP001 is priced at 3,280 JPY (US $43); the AP001E goes for 3,980 ($52.2). It could be a good investment if you think your laptop's audio sounds like a greeting card.

After its launch two years ago, the good-quality, pure and simple Staray case with its intensive Apollish light effects has successfully established itself on the market. Due to its excellent price-performance ratio, the midi tower is still very popular amongst end users as well as professional system builders. To open up new target groups, Enermax decided to extend the case series with two new models.

The successful Enermax Modu87+ has found a worthy successor: Revolution87+ continues the outstanding power supply series. It carries over the main advantages of its predecessor such as the forward-looking, highly efficient Dynamic Hybrid Transformer Topology or the leading fan speed control that ensures a silent operation. On the other hand, Revolution87+ profits by the technological progress of Enermax engineering. With clever ideas and technical novelties, Enermax brings a breath of fresh air into the CPU cooler market - in the true sense of the word, because the innovative construction of the Enermax CPU coolers significantly enhances the air stream conduction and heat dissipation. The manufacturer integrated small spoilers, the so-called Vortex Generators, on the fins of the new ETD-T60 cooler to lead the air stream closely along the heat pipes and to avoid the development of hot spots in the back of the heat pipes (so-called Vortex Generator Flow/VGF).

By utilizing the difference in pressure between the warm air inside the heat sink and the colder air outside, Enermax further improved the air supply: The CPU cooler sides are not fully closed, so that additional fresh air can be sucked into the heat sink (so-called Vacuum Effect Flow/VEF). Both effects, VGF and VEF, have been proved successfully with the side-flow series ETS-T40.

The introduction of the international energy saving certification 80 PLUS for desktop power supplies in 2004 has significantly changed the PSU market. ENERMAX introduces a new down flow CPU cooler, the ETD-T60 series. ENERMAX thermal team presents the new CPU cooler, ETD-T60, with down flow solutions and thermal resistance down to 0.12°C/W; a breakthrough for down flow CPU coolers. ETD-T60 combines six Ø6mm heat pipes that cross from two sides of the heat sink with enhanced soldering technology to ensure flawless thermal conduction from CPU to heat sink. Close to two years after releasing the Brick 2.5-inch drive enclosures, Enermax released an updated variant that makes use of USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface to eliminate any drive to host bottlenecks. Measuring 120 x 77 x 15.5 mm, the Enermax Brick comes in a slate black color, with brushed metal finish. It can house hard drives and solid-state drives in the 2.5-inch SATA form-factor. ENERMAX is proud to announce the release of all new CPU Cooler line, ETS-T40 series. It has world leading thermal resistance value down to an incredible 0.09°C/W. Enermax announced two new high power PSUs that are compliant with the 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, under the MaxRevo series. It includes 1350W and 1500W models. The two are designed for gaming PCs with four graphics cards, a ton of hard drives, and possibly even a dual-socket workstation. The MaxRevo PSUs use Copper-Bridge Array transmission technology that is claimed to deliver a 'cleaner' DC output. The 12V circuit is spread across six rails, and is backed by eight kinds of protection circuitry.

The PSU makes use of high magnetic power density transformer, 105°C Japanese electrolytic capacitors, and is cooled by a 139 mm twister-bearing fan that spins between 900 and 2000 RPM. The receptacle features CordGuard, which firmly secures the AC cord, while the fan-controller features HeatGuard, a feature that keeps the fan spinning even after system shutdown, to cool components down. The MaxRevo 1350W is priced at €344.90, and the MaxRevo 1500W goes for €379.90.

Enermax design team used lavish use of gold chrome polish on its 80 Plus Gold PSUs rushed in by the numbers last year. This is the year of the 80 Plus Platinum PSUs, and Enermax has its premium modular PSU line ready, called Enermax Platimax. Seen here are two of its top models, with output ratings of 900W and 1200W, ready for 3-way and 4-way multi-GPU setups. Among these, while the Platimax 900W is semi-modular, with some key cables such as ATX, EPS, etc., being fixed to the unit, the 1200W one is completely modular. Of course, Enermax doesn't have to both with bling gold paint on its 140 mm fan grille, it can just go with chrome to denote platinum.

Enermax enters the heavyweight class with its new MaxRevo, high-performance PSU specially designed for multi-GPU systems, industrial PC, workstations and servers. It complies with the strictest standards for server PSU, and is equipped with six powerful 12V rails for a safe and stable supply of power to today's high-end systems with full modular design for easy customized use for various peripheral GPU settings.

MaxRevo incorporates the Copper-Bridge Array transmission technology to replace traditional wires, which offers four times wider and shorter transmission path, and results in up to 3% improved regulation that ensures system stability and clean DC output quality.

Enermax released 3.5-inch compatible variants of its Jazzmate series portable HDD/SSD enclosures. The first Jazzmate enclosures only supported drives in the 2.5-inch form-factor. Measuring 200 (D) x 123 (W) x 38 (H) mm, these enclosures have a double-sided mesh design to help ventilate the drives, a completely tool-free design, matte black color, and acrylic stands. The 3.5-inch Jazzmate is available in two variants: a USB 2.0 variant, and a USB 2.0 plus eSATA 3 Gb/s variant, priced at €24.90 and €29.90, respectively.

Enermax today released its TB.Silence line of fans. The fans were first unveiled at this year's CeBIT event, earlier this month. T.B.Silence fans use a special wavy blade profile Enermax calls "Batwing", that improves air-flow to rotational speed ratio. The fan motor supports 4-pin PWM-based speed control, but is fully compatible with older 3-pin voltage-based control. In some "manual control" models, to the power cable, rotary speed control knobs are attached, which can be kept outside the case. The fans feature twister-type bearings that set the MTBF high up to 100,000 hours. The T.B.Silence series comes in four models, and in two sizes: 80 mm and 120 mm:

Enermax is ready with a high-wattage power supply unit (PSU) model that boasts of 80 Plus Platinum efficiency rating, which the company will launch at the CeBIT event. Known as EXX900, the 900W modular PSU will be able to deliver at least 91.07% efficiency at 20% load; 92.51% at 50% load; and 90.12% at 100% load, qualifying for the coveted Platinum rating, making it ideal for high-end PCs with 2~3 graphics cards. Following CeBIT, Enermax' new EXX900 should reach stores.
