EpicGear .50Cal Gaming Set Detailed

When you think of gaming peripheral combos, you often imagine a pack of three entry-level peripherals (keyboard, mouse, headset), which come at a passable bargain together, but which you wouldn't buy in parts. EpicGear is out to change that perception with its new .50Cal gaming set. Housed in a premium carry case that no building security guard will let you pass without peeking into, is a monstrous combo of company's flagship Defiant EG MMS keyboard, flagship ZorA IR gaming mouse, a Thunderouz EG-AMP headset, GryphuZ mousepad, Scorpios mouse bungee, Defiant side-stand (headset stand), Defiant Tournament palm-rest, and a 24-key switch pack for the Defiant EG MMS keyboard.

The Defiant EG MMS is the only mechanical keyboard in which you can not only replace the keycaps, but also hotswap the underlying mechanical switches, so you can have specific keys feel a certain way. The gaming set includes 24 such keys you can replace the keyboard's default Cherry MX Red keys with. Also included is the ThunderouZ EG-AMP, which features a 7-channel headphones amp. The ZorA IR, as its name suggests, comes with an infrared optical sensor, with 3,500 dpi resolution. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability information.

EpicGear Announces the Morpha X Modular Gaming Mouse

At CES 2017, EpicGear, a sub-brand of GeIL, has announced their new Morpha X Modular gaming mouse, a natural evolution of their previously released MorphA gaming mouse. This is an interesting one, at least when it comes to its modularity: you can swap between two provided sensors through its EG MSC technology (an 8,000 DPI laser sensor or a 12,000 DPI optical one) as you see fit and as the situation requires, as well as being able to change the actuation force on the trigger switches through the mouse's EG MSS technology and the two (orange [medium] and purple [pro, heavy]) provided pairs of actuators.

EpicGear Unveils Defiant White RGB Mechanical Keyboard

EpicGear unveiled the White RGB variant of its Defiant mechanical keyboard. Each key can be made to light up in a different color. The keyboard features a simple 104-key set, with Function key enabling more media keys, but also includes a mouse scroll-wheel that acts like a volume control, and which you can push to mute/unmute. The company also showed off a gunmetal trim of this keyboard.
