NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTX 780 Ti is configured to be a notch above the GTX TITAN after all, as leaked specifications sheets reveal it utilize all components available on the GK110 silicon. Specifications sheets of a Galaxy-branded GTX 780 Ti was leaked to the web by @asder00, which reveal it to feature the full complement of 2,880 CUDA cores on the GK110 silicon, which work out to 240 texture memory units (TMUs). Other specifications include 48 ROPs, and a 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, holding 3 GB of memory. Clock speeds include 876 MHz core, 928 MHz GPU Boost, and 1750 MHz (7.00 GHz GDDR5-effective) memory. With these specifications on paper, the GTX 780 Ti shouldn't have too many problems beating the GTX TITAN, and with it, the Radeon R9 290X from AMD. It features everything there is on the GK110, half the memory of the GTX TITAN, but one that's faster.

Galaxy Rolls Out GeForce GTX 760 Mini

Galaxy rolled out a minimalist, and compact GeForce GTX 760 graphics card, the GTX 760 Mini (model: GF PGTX760-OC/2GD5 MINI). It features a compact GK104 PCB that's just 19.3 cm long, and a cooler that isn't over the top for the chip. Despite that, a small factory-overclock is on offer. The GPU is clocked at 1019 MHz (vs. 980 MHz reference), and GPU Boost at 1084 MHz (vs. 1033 MHz reference). The memory is untouched, at 6008 MHz (GDDR5-effective). The cooler uses a dense aluminum fin stack, to which heat is fed by three 8 mm-thick copper heat pipes, and which is ventilated by a pair of 70 mm fans. Based on the 28 nm GK104 silicon, the GeForce GTX 760 features 1,152 CUDA cores, and a 256-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface.

GALAXY Launches The GeForce GTX 770 GC 4GB

Galaxy Microsystems, a leading graphics card manufacturer, announced today the GTX 770 GC 4GB, now with 2 times the memory vs. reference editions. The 4GB version is tuned to match the impressive 1163 MHz boost clock of the GTX 770 GC 2GB and features an extra 2GB of memory to ensure smooth frame rates at high resolutions. The additional ram is especially critical for SLI setups where each card must share copies of the same resources.

Galaxy's Force Air Bracket is also present to help exhaust heat from the PC, and it provides a flexible assortment of outputs including DVI-I, DVI-D, DisplayPort, and HDMI. An adapter is included for VGA displays. Like other GTX 700 series cards before it, the GTX 770 GC 4GB supports DirectX 11.1, GPU Boost 2.0, TXAA, and a maximum of 4 concurrent displays. Overclockers will make full use of the card's superior 5+2 phase power supply (vs. 4+2 reference) which delivers more stable current to the GPU, in addition to IR DirectFET MOSFETs that reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference) and heat output.

Galaxy GeForce GTX 760 HOF Pictured

Following up on launches of its GTX 780 HOF and GTX 770 HOF high-end graphics cards, Galaxy is giving final touches to its next addition to the HOF (hall of fame) series, this one based on the performance-segment GeForce GTX 760 GPU. Pictured below, the GTX 760 HOF is, for all intents and purposes, GTX 770 HOF with a different GPU and memory chips, the pin-compatible GTX 760, and slightly slower 6 GT/s rated memory chips.

The GTX 760 HOF features the same milky, almost edible-looking white PCB characteristic of HOF series, which draws power from a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and conditions it using an 8-phase VRM, which uses CPL-made chokes, and IR DirectFETs. An NEC-Tokin Proadlizer (multi-phase capacitor) keeps power delivery to the GPU clean. The card ships with factory overclocked speeds of 1111 MHz core, 1176 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory. Five Custom GeForce GTX 760 Cards To Feast Your Eyes On Before Tomorrow's Launch

With the official launch scheduled for tomorrow, NVIDIA's latest product has been making the rounds for a few days now. Specification leaks, tests and pictures have been showing up in various places around the web, depicting and detailing different versions and flavors of the card. Today we have for you five different non-reference designs from five distinct manufacturers, these are Colorful, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Inno3D and Zotac.

Colorful GeForce GTX 760 OC
Colorful's custom GTX 760 card borrows from NVIDIA's previous generation designs, specifically, it uses a reference GTX 680 PCB and cooler. The card comes factory overclocked, with the GPU base clock set at 993 MHz and the boost clock at 1058 MHz. On the other hand, memory clock is set at 1502 MHz (6008 MHz effective), same as the reference design.

The GeForce GTX 770 SOC is among the five attractions at Galaxy's Computex booth. With GTX 770 being not so different in design to a GTX 680, we imagine Galaxy to have spent very little R&D in coming up with the GTX 770 SOC (super-overclock), which looks nearly identical to the GeForce GTX 680 Hall of Fame aka KFA2 GTX 680 Limited Edition OC V4 graphics card from last year. You get the same all-white combo of non-reference design PCB and cooler, the same strange display I/O of a DisplayPort next to three mini-HDMI connectors, but with higher clock speeds, and GPU Boost 2.0, which will surely take advantage of the cooler to sustain boost states.

Galaxy Also Unveils First GTX 780 Graphics Card with Custom PCB

Every GeForce GTX 780 graphics card launched till date features an NVIDIA-reference design PCB, or one that looks like it, with minor changes, until now. Galaxy unveiled the first GTX 780 graphics card with a non-reference design PCB, the GTX 780 Super Overclock Hall of Fame (SOC-HOF). The card uses a milky-white colored PCB, with a strong VRM design to support factory-overclocked speeds (undisclosed), and record-seeking overclocking. The card ships with a meaty triple-slot air-cooler, which uses a dense aluminum fin-stack that's fed by four 8 mm-thick copper heat pipes, and ventilated by two large 80~92 mm fans.

Galaxy Also Shows off GeForce GTX 780 Twin Fan Graphics Card

Galaxy started its GeForce GTX 780 lineup off with a single reference-design card, but plans to make some major additions. One of them is the GTX 780 Twin Fan. Pictured below, the card uses a unique fin-stack heatsink that uses a mix of aluminum and copper fins. Four 8 mm-thick nickel-plated copper heat pipes conduct heat from the GK110 GPU to this colorful fin-stack, which is ventilated by a pair of 80 mm spinners. Alas, this unique dual-slot cooler sits on a bland NVIDIA-reference design PCB, just like on every GTX 780 card ever sold. Galaxy should ship the card with factory-overclocked speeds, but didn't disclose them.

Galaxy Shows off Z87 Hall of Fame Motherboard

Galaxy extended its top-end Hall of Fame (HOF) brand extension to motherboards, and unveiled its flagship socket LGA1150 motherboard, the Z87 HOF. The board uses two PEX8747 x48 bridge chips, probably chained, to give out four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, all four of which stay at electrical x16, no matter how you populate them. The board uses a 16-phase VRM to power the CPU, which draws power from two 8-pin EPS connectors, in addition to the 24-pin ATX. The board takes advantage of its unique PCI-Express configuration to support 4-way SLI and CrossFireX.

Sadly, the board doesn't impress quite as much with storage connectivity. You get four SATA 6 Gb/s ports, an mSATA/mPCIe, and an eSATA. DVI, HDMI, 8-channel HD audio, and gigabit Ethernet make for the rest of it. The board gives you plenty of overclocking features, such as onboard OC controls, dual-BIOS, voltage measurement-points, an OC module, and a feature-rich UEFI setup program.

Galaxy announced its sole GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost graphics card model, which makes use of custom-design cooler and PCB. The cooler uses an 80 mm fan to ventilate an aluminum fin heatsink. Galaxy Rolls Out Thunder GT 128 Pro SSD

Known more for its graphics cards, Galaxy has an SSD lineup, with which it targets the Greater China region. It rolled out the Thunder GT 128 Pro, a 128 gigabyte SSD in the 2.5-inch form-factor, with SATA 6 Gb/s interface. The drive utilizes Toshiba-made Toggle-NAND flash, JMicron JMF667H processor, and an unknown amount of DRAM cache. The drive offers sequential transfer rates as high as 480 MB/s reads, 300 MB/s writes, 70,000 IOPS QD64 reads, and 58,000 IOPS QD64 writes. Available in China from later this month, the Galaxy Thunder GT 128 Pro is priced at 799¥ (US $128).

Futuremark and Galaxy Announce Overclocking Contests

Futuremark and GALAXY announced the start today of GALAXY Ice Storm, the first official overclocking contest using the new version of 3DMark released in February. For the next four weeks, overclockers worldwide can win more than $16,000 USD in prizes by submitting the highest scores in the new 3DMark Ice Storm, Cloud Gate and Fire Strike benchmark tests. Galaxy Announces its GeForce GTX Titan Graphics Card

One of NVIDIA's highest volume AIC partners, Galaxy, dropped in its GeForce GTX Titan offering, joining other partners in their late-evening launch, even as partners struggle to scrape up inventories. Galaxy's offering is no different from absolutely any other among NVIDIA's partners, who are restricted from modifying the board design, or playing with the reference clock speeds. Partners are allowed to drop in additional items in their packages, and of course their own overclocking software that can take advantage of the card's enthusiast features. Based on the 28 nm GK110 silicon, the GeForce GTX Titan features 2,688 CUDA cores, 224 TMUs, 48 ROPs, and a 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface, holding 6 GB of memory. The card features NVIDIA reference clock speeds of 837/876/6008 MHz (core/GPU Boost/memory). It should be priced around $1000 before taxes.

KFA2 All-White GeForce GTX 680 LTD OC V4 Pictured

KFA2, Galaxy's European front, is working on a limited-edition GeForce GTX 680 4 GB factory-overclocked graphics card based on an all-white design, the GTX 680 LTD OC V4. Derived from the April-launched KFA2 GTX 680 Hall of Fame, the new card swaps out the contrasting black+blue fans for white fans with white frames, and a dash of black for its decals. Much like the older card, the GTX 680 LTD OC V4 features 2 GB of GDDR5 memory. The factory-overclocked card features 1006 MHz to 1150 MHz GPU frequencies (including GPU Boost), and 6.00 GHz memory.

The KFA2 GeForce GTX 680 LTD OC V4 uses a milky-white custom-design PCB that uses an 8-phase VRM that makes use of CPL-made chokes, IR DirectFETs, tantalum capacitors, and a multi-phase proadlizer by NEC-Tokin. Its cooler consists of a large aluminum fin stack that spans across the entire length of the card, which is ventilated by three 90 mm fans which aren't LED lit (unlike the HOF). Display outputs include one standard DisplayPort 1.2, and three mini-HDMI 1.4a connectors. The card draws power from two 8-pin PCIe power connectors, and can pair with three more of its kind for 4-way SLI. In the UK, it's expected to be priced under £450 (US $730).

Apple Posts "Samsung Didn't Copy iPad" Statement

Apple finally got around to complying with a recent judgement by a UK court, which told it to make a statement asserting that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9, and Tab 7.7 do not violate design patents claimed by Apple. In addition to linking to the court order, the statement claims that the judgement is in effect throughout the European Union, and was upheld by the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, on October 18, 2012. The judgement is expected to set a significant precedent in favor of Samsung in other parts of the world where the two companies are locked in similar legal disputes.

Galaxy Announces GeForce GTX 650 Green Edition

Galaxy rolled out an energy-efficient GeForce GTX 650 graphics card, the Green Edition. It is one of the very few GTX 650 graphics card models that lack 6-pin PCIe power connectors, and rely entirely on the PCIe bus for power. The card uses near-identical PCB and cooler designs to the GTX 650 GC, except the 6-pin power connector is absent. The card sticks to NVIDIA-reference clock speeds of 1058 MHz core, and 5.00 GHz memory. It packs 1 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit wide memory interface. Expect the GTX 650 Green Edition to cost around US $110.

Apple Loses Design Patent Appeal Against Samsung Galaxy Tab in UK

A British court ruled that Samsung Galaxy Tab did not pose a copyright infringement of Apple iPad. Apple and Samsung are locked in design patent infringement lawsuits around the world, with the UK being an important market for both. In addition to its ruling, the court told Apple to issue a public apology to Samsung and its customers in advertisements, with a font size no smaller than Arial 14. The court of appeal upheld its judgement that and Samsung did not infringe Apple's design.

Galaxy Outs GeForce GT 610 MDT Graphics Card

Galaxy introduced a new GeForce GT 610 graphics card with its MDT multi-display connectivity, ideal for PCs with multiple high-resolution monitors for productivity. Just don't expect to game on it. The single-slot, full-height graphics card uses a fan-heatsink to cool the GPU and 1 GB of DDR3 memory. The GPU is wired to two IDT VMM1402 multi-display chips, which give out two DMS59 ports. Cables are included that convert each DMS59 to two DVI-I single-link, which supports digital resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 pixels. The GPU is clocked at 810 MHz, CUDA cores at 1620 MHz, and memory at 1.00 GHz. Based on the 40 nm GF119 silicon, the GeForce GT 610 packs 48 CUDA cores, and a 64-bit wide memory interface. Pricing information was not released.
