ZOTAC Starts CES 2013 With New 3rd Generation ZBOX mini-PC

ZOTAC International, a global innovator and leading manufacturer of graphics cards, mainboards and mini-PCs today starts the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 with a new 3rd Generation ZOTAC ZBOX and a refreshed mobile-on-desktop 2nd Generation ZBOX mini-PCs. The new ZOTAC ZBOX mini-PCs both receive Intel Core processors for outstanding performance.

3rd Generation ZOTAC ZBOX Chassis

The 3rd Generation ZOTAC ZBOX is the most substantial evolution of the ZBOX since its introduction three years ago and receives a slight 7-mm increase in thickness to accommodate higher-performance components. Network connectivity receives an upgrade with the 3rd Generation ZOTAC ZBOX chassis for dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with teaming capabilities and dual external Wi-Fi antenna's for superior wireless networking and Bluetooth reception.

Galaxy Outs GeForce GT 610 MDT Graphics Card

Galaxy introduced a new GeForce GT 610 graphics card with its MDT multi-display connectivity, ideal for PCs with multiple high-resolution monitors for productivity. Just don't expect to game on it. The single-slot, full-height graphics card uses a fan-heatsink to cool the GPU and 1 GB of DDR3 memory. The GPU is wired to two IDT VMM1402 multi-display chips, which give out two DMS59 ports. Cables are included that convert each DMS59 to two DVI-I single-link, which supports digital resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 pixels. The GPU is clocked at 810 MHz, CUDA cores at 1620 MHz, and memory at 1.00 GHz. Based on the 40 nm GF119 silicon, the GeForce GT 610 packs 48 CUDA cores, and a 64-bit wide memory interface. Pricing information was not released.

ASUS EeeBox EB1030 Nettop Detailed

ASUS unveiled a 1 liter (volume equivalent) sized nettop, the EeeBox EB1030, powered by Intel Atom "Cedar Trail" platform. It measures just 219 x 172.5 x 29 mm, weighing 690 g. Under the hood is an Atom D2550 dual-core processor, clocked at 1.86 GHz, backed by 1 GB of DDR3 memory, and 320 GB storage. Upgrade options include up to 4 GB of memory, and 500 GB HDD or 32 GB SSD.

Most basic network and peripheral connectivity options are present, including 802.11 b/g/n, gigabit Ethernet, stereo audio with 5.1 channels over SPDIF, legacy serial, and display outputs that include HDMI and D-Sub. The EeeBox EB1030 starts at €296. The company plans two other models, the EB1031 featuring Atom D2700 processor, and the EB1033, which tops the EB1031 up with NVIDIA GeForce GT 610M graphics.

MSI Launches its GeForce GT 600 Series Graphics Cards

MSI launched its GeForce GT 600 series lineup with as many as four GeForce GT 630, two GeForce GT 620, and three GeForce GT 610 models. Among the GT 630 models are full-height, double-slot ones with 1 GB, 2 GB, and 3 GB SDDR3 memory options; and a low-profile 1 GB variant. The GeForce GT 620 models include a full-height dual-fan; and a low-profile, single-slot variant; both of which are backed by 1 GB of SDDR3 memory. Finishing things off, the GeForce GT 610 contingent includes two active cooled models, with 1 GB and 2 GB memory options, both of which are low-profile and single-slot; and a low-profile, dual-slot, passive cooled model.

Leadtek Announces a Trio of Winfast GeForce GT 600 Graphics Cards

Leadtek joined the GeForce GT 600 launch party with three new Winfast series graphics card models, based on the GeForce GT 630, GeForce GT 620, and GeForce GT 610 (pictured in that order, below). The GT 630 card (model: LR2741), dons a full-height PCB, a double-slot cooling solution, 1 GB of SDDR3 memory, and clock speeds of 810/1620/1600 MHz (core/CUDA cores/memory effective).

The GeForce GT 620 based card (model: LR2740), is low-profile capable, its cooling solution consists of an active fan-heatsink. Like the GT 630 model, this card utilizes 1 GB of SDDR3 memory as well. It comes with clock speeds of 700/1400/1333 MHz. Lastly, there's the GT 610-based card (model: LR2739), which packs a much more compact fan-heatsink, 1 GB of SDDR3 memory, and clock speeds of 810/1620/1066 MHz. All three cards provide DVI, D-Sub, and HDMI display outputs.

Galaxy Launches its GeForce GT 600 Series Graphics Cards

Galaxy launched a constellation of GeForce GT 600 series graphics cards, consisting of two models each, based on the GeForce GT 610, GeForce GT 620, and GeForce GT 630. Its GeForce GT 610 lineup consists of two half-height (low-profile) graphics cards, the GF PGT610-LP/2GD3 confines to a single expansion slot apart from its half-height PCB, thanks to an active fan-heatsink. It packs 2 GB of memory. The GF PGT610-LP/1GD3 FANLESS packs 1 GB of memory and a passive cooling solution that steps over the bounds of a single expansion slot. Both cards feature clock speeds of 810/1620/1000 MHz (core/CUDA cores/memory).

The GeForce GT 620 lineup includes the GF PGT620/2GD3 and GF PGT620-LP/1GD3. The former packs 2 GB of memory, clock speeds of 700/1400/1000 MHz, and lacks a half-height PCB; while the latter is low-profile capable thanks to its half-height PCB, packs 1 GB of memory, and clock speeds of 700/1400/667 MHz. The GeForce GT 630 lineup consists of the only cards launched today, which implement GDDR5 memory. The GF PGT630/512D5 packs 512 MB of memory, and clock speeds of 810/1620/3200 MHz; while the GF PGT630/1GD5 packs 1 GB of memory, with a slightly lower memory clock speed of 3.10 GHz. Both these cards feature full-height PCBs, and two-slot cooling solutions.

EVGA Launches its GeForce GT 600 Series Products

EVGA launched its GeForce GT 600 portfolio, consisting of six models, four of which are based on the GeForce GT 610, and one each on the GeForce GT 620, and GeForce GT 630. The GeForce GT 630 packs 96 CUDA cores, 1 GB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 800 MHz (1.60 GHz GDDR3 effective) over a 128-bit wide memory interface, and a core clock speed of 810 MHz, with 1620 MHz CUDA core clock. The card utilizes a full-height PCB, with display outputs that include two DVI, and a mini-HDMI. Its single slot cooling solution uses a large, low-RPM fan.

The GeForce GT 620 is similar to the GT 630, including its board design and most of its specifications, but comes with lower clock speeds, at 700 MHz core, 1400 MHz CUDA cores, and 700 MHz (1.40 GHz GDDR3 effective) memory. Lastly, there are as many as four models based on the GeForce GT 610 chip, which are based on a half-height board, and a full-height one; with 1 GB of GDDR3 memory across a 64-bit wide memory interface that comes standard, and 2 GB variants of both. The full-height cards have two DVI and a mini-HDMI output, while the half-height ones have one each of DVI, HDMI, and D-Sub (analog). The GT 610 packs 48 CUDA cores, and clock speeds of 810/1620/1000 MHz (core/CUDA cores/memory effective).
