The PGF card outdoes its AMP Extreme AIRO sibling by a small margin in overclocked mode—it is 45 MHz faster (2625 MHz vs. 2580 MHz).

Newegg is currently running a promo offer on an ASRock AMD Radeon RX 6600 Challenger D 8 GB graphics card—a code can be used at checkout to remove a further $20 from the already low retail base price of $199.99. Prices of this previous generation GPU are falling internationally, but Newegg's all-time-low price is only available to customers in North America. TPU's review of AMD's Radeon RX 7600 GPU states that this new lower end RDNA3 card offers a 25% gen-over-gen performance uplift versus RDNA2's RX 6600 (non-XT). The latter certainly offers excellent value at its current very low price on Newegg, with a saving of $90 over the RX 7600's steadfast MSRP of $269.99. Further drops are anticipated following the arrival of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060 (non-Ti) on June 29, but Newegg's next batch of promotional codes could be less generous with discounts by then.

AMD and its board partners have finally debuted Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards this week, and hardware enthusiasts were somewhat pleased about Team Red's last minute adjustment to the lineup's MSRP - rumors had to pointed to an expected $299 base price, but the monolithic RDNA 3 Navi 33 XL GPU (6 nm) card hit the market with a starting SEP of $269/€299.99. Buyer perception is difficult to gauge, but recent GPU product launches have indicated that folks are simply not rushing to the store to pick up the latest and greatest from AMD and NVIDIA alike.

A major Spanish e-tailer, CoolMod, is reported to be the first European store to offer a custom Radeon RX 7600 card at a discounted price of €259.94 ($279) which includes VAT - having adjusted the figure a mere day after the official launch - resulting in a saving of €40 (13% reduction). The ASRock Challenger OC 8 GB model was announced yesterday, alongside its Steel Legend and Phantom Gaming siblings - the latter has been reviewed by TPU's W1zzard. His assessment concludes: "At its price point, the RX 7600 offers virtually the same price/performance as the RX 6600 XT ($250), which makes it a tough sale, especially when you factor in price increases for custom designs. While AMD does have some technological improvements like HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1 and AV1 video encode/decode, I think none of these are relevant in this segment, at least not to the majority of potential customers; NVIDIA has the DLSS 3 carrot to dangle in front of gamers. The RX 7600 should really be $199 or $229 to make it an interesting option."

XFX started selling its Radeon RX 7600 series graphics cards, which consist of the affordable RX 7600 Speedster SWFT 210, and the premium RX 7600 Speedster QICK 308. The SWFT 210 is priced at the AMD MSRP for the RX 7600, of USD $269. The QICK 308 is priced at a $20-40 premium, although it has been spotted on e-tailers at the MSRP.

The SWFT 210 uses a simpler aluminium fin-stack cooler that uses a pair of 100 mm fans (hence the name 210, denoting 2x 100 mm fans). The card sticks to AMD-reference clock speeds of 2250 MHz Game clocks, and 2655 MHz boost. The larger QICK 308, on the other hand, uses a triple-slot, triple fan cooling solution, with a more elaborate multiple fin-stack heatsink, and three 80 mm fans (hence 308). This card comes with a factory-overclock. While the Game clock is untouched at 2250 MHz, the boost frequency is dialed up to 2755 MHz. This card uses the same 1x 8-pin PCIe power input configuration as its sibling.

It was reported earlier this morning that Leadtek was preparing a new custom design NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card - Tom's Hardware pointed out that South Korea's National Radio Research Agency had uploaded a registration for a "RTX 4070 AI BLOWER" VGA card on behalf of "Leadtek Research Inc." The article delves into a possible scenario, based on the model name alone, of Leadtek producing a cooling solution that reflects NVIDIA's blower-style reference design. Team Green has gained quite the reputation for being protective of that blueprint, despite its Founders Edition lineup of gaming-oriented cards shifting to a traditional cooling solution (back in the RTX 20-series days). Board partners are normally expected to devise their own/unique cooling solutions, and NVIDIA has mostly reserved the blower + vapor chamber combination for its professional GPU model lineups.

Leadtek has created a product page for their new custom card this afternoon, and it is immediately clear that this morning's prediction was somewhat correct. The WinFast RTX 4070 AI BLOWER 12G sports a "streamlined" yet boxy black cooling solution that appears to be closer in appearance to an NVIDIA RTX A-series professional card, although a flash of silver trim and logo on the fan provides a bit of "gamer" visual language. Leadtek's specification info states that their AI Blower cooler features an aluminium die cast housing alongside a copper finned vapor chamber. The lone mounted fan is said to have a 50,000 hour operational lifespan thanks to a special internal arrangement: "WinFast double ball bearing fan provides better reliability, higher dust resistance levels, and moreso keeps friction and noise to a minimum." Tom's Hardware posited that Leadtek's custom card would be marketed as an enterprise product (for AI processing) - the freshly uploaded product page does position it for those purposes, but the rundown also mentions its supposed gaming performance prowess.

Galax has expanded its NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card lineup with a new Hydro models available in white or black - the latter will become available at a later date. The new design sports a 360 mm AIO liquid cooler with a triple-fan setup and 50 cm long tubing, which seems to be a first for Galax - all of its previously released GeForce RTX 40-series cards have been air-cooled. A full-cover aluminium alloy backplate is attached, according to Galax's product page.

It is not clear where the RTX 4090 Hydro cards sit in Galax's model rankings, but the pair look to be positioned below their flagship air-cooled HoF (Hall of Fame) sibling. The HoF boasts a 2595 MHz boost clock plus a 1-Click OC Clock of 2610 MHz (enabled via Galax's software), while the Hydro makes do with a 2580 MHz boost clock which aligns it with the 4090 SG 1-Click OC (air-cooled) variant, but the specification sheet points to the Hydro missing Galax's software-enabled overclock feature.

Team Blue is putting a lot of effort into getting the hardware buying public to adopt its first generation of A-series/Alchemist discrete graphics cards - including the premiere of a slightly bizarre marketing campaign last week, called "Arc Balanced Builds." Intel has been navigating a market long dominated by NVIDIA and AMD, where plenty of folks have welcomed a third player on the field - but the Arc series experienced a much delayed and rough launch process last year. Intel has seemingly committed to next generation graphics technologies, with its Battlemage and Celestial architectures speculated to be in-progress at the company's AXG division.

According to brand new information sent to the press and influencers yesterday, AMD has likely made a last minute change to its pricing strategy - VideoCardz has communicated with insider sources and confirms that an official email contains this message: "The Radeon RX 7600 will now be available starting at an SEP of $269 USD, beginning on May 25."

Industry experts were predicting a $299 MSRP for the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 graphics card lineup, based on possible earlier communications (under embargo) from AMD, but the company has seemingly decided to change its pricing strategy ($269/€299) only three days before the May 25 launch. Sapphire China has introduced a slightly cheaper alternative to its high-end Nitro Vapor-X card, based on AMD's Radeon RX 7900 XT GPU. The new Nitro OC L custom design (also translated as "XT 20G Ultra Platinum L") grants a saving of about $70 when stacked against the XT Nitro+ Vapor-X model. Local prices according to JD.com's listings are 6299 RMB (roughly $895) and 6799 RMB (around $966) respectively. The two cards appear to be very similar in appearance at first glance, but Sapphire has chosen to cut back on advanced cooling features and lighting.

The "Nitro OC L" comes with a more traditional copper base, which presumably helps reduce the unit's material cost, but this choice also lessens its cooling prowess - Sapphire's engineering team has lowered the card's clock speed boost down to 2450 MHz (from the Vapor-X's 2560 MHz), so performance is on-par with their RX 7900 XT PULSE model. The Nitro OC L features a single strip of RGB on the top of its shroud - its more expensive sibling sports a secondary lighting region on its underside (emitting in the direction of the motherboard). The Radeon RX 7900 XT Nitro OC L card has not been announced for launches in western markets yet, but we hope to hear more from Sapphire's international team very soon.

Some retailers/e-tailers are jumping the gun and listing the upcoming Radeon RX 7600 graphics cards, and the latest one shows custom versions from XFX and Gigabyte, priced between CAD $409.99 and CAD $425.00. This puts them in line with the previously rumored USD $299 price tag for the Radeon RX 7600.

Although the listings from Canadacomputers.com were removed, the information was leaked, and it gives us a general idea about the price of the Radeon RX 7600. Such pricing would put the Radeon RX 7600 in direct competition with the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 non-Ti, scheduled to launch in July. AMD has yet to officially announced the Radeon RX 7600 graphics card, but we expect it to happen pretty soon, considering the rumored May 25th launch date.

The leaked images once again come courtesy of VideoCardz - the set of two photos show a dual-fan setup on a mostly black shroud with the company's simple "Radeon" logo positioned near the top - this design seems to be missing an underlining strip of RGB (as seen on the big boy cards).

The picture of the card's flipside depicts a very plain looking backplate. The overall aesthetic is not too far removed from the existing high-end Radeon RX 7900 XT and 7900 XTX reference siblings, although this leaked entry-level offering is tiny in comparison - it is reported to be just under 21 centimeters in length (versus the 7900 XT at 27.6 cm and 7900 XTX at 28.7 cm). The RX 7600 MBA (made-by-AMD) card is said to be two slots wide.

The NVIDIA RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation graphics card was released to the public in late April, but very few reviews and benchmarks have emerged since then. Jisaku Hibi, a Japanese hardware site, has published an in-depth evaluation that focuses mostly on gaming performance. The RTX 4000 Ada SFF has been designed as a compact workstation graphics card, but its usage of an AD104 die makes it a sibling of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4070 and 4070 Ti gaming-oriented cards. Several PC hardware sites have posited that the 70 W RTX 4000 Ada SFF would "offer GeForce RTX 3070-like performance," but Jisaku Hibi's investigation points to the RTX 3060 Ti being the closest equivalent card (in terms of benchmark results).

According to the TPU GPU database: "NVIDIA has disabled some shading units on the RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation to reach the product's target shader count. It features 6144 shading units, 192 texture mapping units, and 80 ROPs. Also included are 192 tensor cores which help improve the speed of machine learning applications. The card also has 48 ray tracing acceleration cores. NVIDIA has paired 20 GB GDDR6 memory with the RTX 4000 SFF Ada Generation, which are connected using a 160-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1290 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1565 MHz, memory is running at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps effective)." The SKU's 70 W TGP and limited memory interface are seen as the card's main weak points, resulting in average clock speeds and a maximum memory bandwidth of only 280 GB/s.

Sapphire's Radeon RX 7600 PULSE graphics card was leaked, albeit in fully boxed form, earlier this week. VideoCardz received a tip on Tuesday about a stack of products sitting in a retail store located somewhere in Asia - an insider source had taken photos of several boxes, weeks ahead of the rumored May 25 hardware launch. A brave seller on Singapore's Carousell online marketplace listed a number of Sapphire Radeon RX 7600 PULSE cards on the site, but these pages were swiftly taken down by admin. Specifications printed on outer packaging revealed that this GPU model packs 8 GB of VRAM and 32 RDNA3 CUs - indicating a full configuration of AMD's Navi 33 GPU die.

The embargo has been broken once again - earlier today VideoCardz published leaked images of the card itself (out of the box). The photos seem to be of official origin - perhaps destined for product pages on Sapphire's website(s) or online retail listings. A new PULSE custom cooling solution is on view - revealing a dual-fan and dual-slot design with a largely black cooler, accented with red markings plus a bit of white lettering. The shroud seems to lack any integrated RGB lighting zones or strips. An 8-pin power connector is present, possibly indicating that the custom card only requires 150 W (8-pin) + 75 W (PCIe) or more in operational power.
