HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB Memory Pictured Up Close

A quick walk back through Kingston's HyperX booth showed us the company's innovative new HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB memory in action. These memory modules feature IR (infrared) sensors that let them talk to their neighboring modules, to synchronize RGB lighting, and letting you transition your RGB lighting effects across multiple modules. This takes away the need for wired connections to the motherboard for software control.

HyperX Also Shows Off Alloy Elite RGB Mechanical Keyboard

HyperX gave the Alloy Elite mechanical gaming keyboard it launched last July, the RGB LED treatment, with the new HyperX Alloy Elite RGB. The keyboards retain the feature-set of the original Alloy Elite, but come with RGB LED-illuminated Cherry MX Red, MX Brown, or MX Blue switches. The RGB LED illumination, along with macros, is controlled via the new HyperX NGenuity software. Available from a little later this week, the new HyperX Alloy Elite RGB is priced at USD $169.99.

HyperX Shows Off Pulsefire Surge RGB Mouse

Kingston showed off its HyperX Pulsefire Surge RGB gaming mouse. Designed for ambidextrous use, the mouse is studded with 360° RGB LED diffusers. Under its hood, is a Pixart 3389 sensor, that has a staggering 16,000 dpi tracking resolution, with fine-grained adjustment. Its main buttons are backed by Omron-made mechanical switches that have rated durability for up to 50 million clicks. The included HyperX NGenuity software lets you not only control macros, but also its RGB LED lighting. Available in Q2-2018, the mouse is expected to be priced at USD $69.99.

HyperX Unveils World's First Infrared Synchronized DDR4 RGB Memory

HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., today announced the industry's first memory modules featuring synchronized RGB lighting with IR (infrared) technology - the HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB. HyperX Savage EXO External SSD Pictured

Kingston showed off its HyperX Savage EXO external SSD, targeted at notebook gamers, and game console users, so you could easily swap out game install folders of multiple games on the fly. Built in a compact, yet rugged polycarbonate chassis, the drive comes in capacities of 480 GB and 960 GB, implementing 3D TLC NAND flash memory. The drive takes advantage of USB 3.1 gen 2 (10 Gbps) interface, offering sequential transfer rates of up to 490 MB/s reads, and up to 480 MB/s writes (something not possible with USB 3.1 gen 1, due to interface overhead). Both type-A and type-C cables come included with the drive, a single cable handles both power and host-connectivity.

Kingston HyperX Cloud Flight Wireless Gaming Headset Pictured

Kingston showed off its new HyperX Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset. This is the company's first wireless gaming headset, and has a design focus on light weight, so your neck can cope with extended periods of gaming with a headset that has batteries. It has a slightly chiseled design compared to the original HyperX Cloud, and loses unnecessary bulk unless it serves a function. The company assures 30 hours of usage on a full battery charge. Kingston speaks of audio performance rivaling its wired siblings, thanks to its 50 mm drivers. Slated for mid-January, the HyperX Cloud Flight is priced at USD $159.99.

Kingston did what was inevitable - RGB LED lighting on SSDs, the least showy components of any PC build. The new HyperX Fury RGB series SSDs feature RGB LED lighting elements in the form of two diffusers and the HyperX logo. The drive is build in the 7 mm-thick 2.5-inch form-factor, with SATA 6 Gbps interface. In addition to the SATA interface, the drive has a micro-USB 2.0 port, and in included cable that connects it to a USB 2.0 header of your motherboard. This USB connection is needed to let you control its LED lighting. In addition to Kingston's own HyperX app, in addition to industry standards such as ASUS Aura Sync RGB, and GIGABYTE RGB Fusion. As a drive, the HyperX Fury RGB retains the feature-set of the HyperX Fury. It comes in capacities of 240 GB, 480 GB, and 960 GB; and implements 3D MLC NAND flash memory. It offers sequential transfer rates of up to 550 MB/s reads, with up to 520 MB/s writes.

Kingston Shows Off HyperX Predator LED DDR4 Memory

Kingston showed off its HyperX Predator LED DDR4 memory, featuring RGB multi-color LED lighting elements lining the top of the modules. At this point it's not clear how the colors and lighting schemes are set, but from the looks of it, these seem to support ASUS Aura Sync software. The modules feature soft-glow prismatic bars. The company is initially launching these modules in DDR4-3000 MHz speeds, in densities of 8 GB and 16 GB, and in dual-channel kits. It didn't mention pricing or availability.

HyperX Announces the Alloy RGB Gaming Keyboard, and its Two Other Variants

At the 2016 International CES expo, Kingston announced three new gaming keyboards, the Alloy RGB, and two new mechanical switch options for the Alloy FPS keyboard. To begin with, the Alloy RGB is a line of mechanical keyboards unto itself, featuring RGB LED-illuminated Cherry MX RGB switches across its spectrum. It is based on the same design as the original Alloy FPS keyboard the company launched back in October 2016. The company launched two more variants of the Alloy FPS, featuring Cherry MX Red and Cherry MX Brown switches. Market availability of the Alloy RGB is slated for Q3-2017, it is yet to be priced. The Cherry MX Red and MX Brown variants of the Alloy FPS will launch later this month, priced at US $99.99.

HyperX Also Announces the Pulsefire Gaming Mouse

Alongside their new Cloud Revolver S headphones, which joins HyperX's already strong headphone lineup, the company has also taken the opportunity to announce a new product as CES 2017: the Pulsefire gaming mouse.

The first optical mouse in the HyperX range of products comes with the standard, run-of-the-mill load-out on gaming mice - 2x programmable side buttons, a threaded scroll wheel and rubberized grips. It also packs in four preset DPI settings (400/800/1,600/3,200), adjustable by the DPI button on top of the mouse, which lets you calibrate your mouse's sensitivity on the fly, and makes use of a braided USB cord to offer a little more durability.

The Pulsefire is due out in April 2017 for under $50.
