Integral Has Done It Again, Announces World-First 512 GB MicroSD Card

Integral has done it again as they did before in the 256 GB MicroSD card release: their new, announced 512 GB MicroSD will officially be the biggest (and first) of its kind in the tech world when it comes around to retail shelves next February. Integral is a company that specializes in memory products, and already has 2 TB M.2 SSD releases under its belt as well. And it will also be the smallest-ever 512 GB storage card medium.

Now, I understand that MicroSD cards aren't exactly what we here at TPU boot our website to look at; however, I take this opportunity to just invite our readers to stare in awe at how far ahead we've come since the time of 3½-inch floppy disks. The previous biggest MicroSD card record-holder was Sandisk, with their 400 GB offering; and still is the fastest of the high-capacity MicroSD cards at 100 MB/s. However, Integral's MicroSD is no slouch either, still managing to deliver 80 MB/s max speeds, with a minimum 10 MB/s writes guaranteed (it's classified as an SDXC UHS-I U1 card, and meets the V10 standard for video transfer rates, so it's designed to capture full HD video off cameras). Expect this tiny MicroSD to deliver quite the blow to your monthly earnings should you be looking to buy it come February, though. And I do hope you never lose it.

Integral SSD Takes Performance to the Extreme

UK based memory manufacturer Integral has launched a high-end performance Solid State Drive (SSD) that targets the needs of serious gamers, digital designers and pro video makers. Powered by a quad-core, 8-channel Phison S10 controller, the UltimaPro X SSD delivers super-fast speeds of up to 565MB/s read and 545MB/s write with enough rapid access storage to satisfy the most data intensive applications.

Integral has engineered the drives specifically to enhance high-specification computers that handle super-high resolution graphics such as those found in the latest 4K PC games and data fuelled workflows of content editors, 3D animators, 4K video and live broadcast cameras. Hard drives were viewed by many as the last major bottleneck in gaming and video editing workstations, after the introduction of overclocked RAM and graphics cards running in a multi-GPU setup. Now with an SSD designed for incredible performance all will enjoy the benefits of faster loading times, an ultra-responsive system and super-fast boot.

Integral Memory Launches FUSION USB Type-C Flash Drive

Integral Memory has announced the launch of its first flash drive featuring a USB Type-C connector which is the answer to an increasingly mobile world. The Fusion USB Type-C Flash Drive provides an instant data storage device with ultimate compatibility between smartphones, tablets, PCs and Macs. In future the Type-C connector will simplify all formats into one universal interface that will carry both data and power between devices at higher speeds.

"The Fusion USB Type-C is the first generation of a new age of connectivity that answers the demands of a multi-device world. It is well-timed to answer the demands of a data hungry age, where higher resolution media and more complex apps demand increased speed and compatibility between the workplace and the home," commented Francesco Rivieccio, Senior Product Manager at Integral Memory plc.

Integral Memory Announce Sleek, High-Speed, Metal USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Memory and storage specialist Integral has launched the Fusion USB 3.0 Flash Drive. Measuring a tiny 21 x 12 x 4.5 mm and weighing only 3g, Fusion 3.0 is one of the smallest flash drives in the world.

The Fusion 3.0 Drive meets the demand for high-speed, high-capacity storage, in a compact and stylish flash drive. The low profile and non-protruding design makes the Fusion 3.0 ideal for "leave-in" multimedia environments such as Smart TVs, home and car audio, game consoles, laptops and tablets. The drive has been designed to fit easily and safely onto a key ring.

Integral Launches Crypto Series SSDs with 256-bit AES Encryption

Memory and storage specialist Integral has launched Crypto SSD, its first range of solid-state drives (SSDs) to feature military-level, AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) 256-bit hardware encryption. As well as the secure, convenient and low-cost protection of sensitive data, the new drives offer all the benefits of solid-state storage. This includes low-power operation, silent running, rapid boot time and, as there are no moving parts, higher reliability and enhanced resistance to shock and vibration.

Protecting sensitive data through encryption is becoming a mandatory requirement for a wide range of organisations as bodies such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) impose increasingly severe penalties for data protection breaches resulting from lost and stolen computers. Crypto SSD is a 'fit and forget' solution with a low total cost of ownership (TCO) that will allow banks, law firms, educational establishments, healthcare professionals, local government and a variety of other business and public sector organisations to meet their data protection obligations.
