Intel Comet Lake Review Kit Unboxed, Core i9-10900K and Core i5-10600K Pictured

It seems that today Intel lifted an embargo on the preview of its reviewer kit, and thanks to a few websites we have pictures of what the packaging looks like. And it is one fancy packaging for sure with lots of plastic this time around. Intel has decided to switch up its packaging game and now it is very different. Now Intel seems to target aesthetics very similar to AMD Threadripper packaging, with a plastic window that reveals the CPU box that has big words distinguishing whatever the model in question is a Core i5 or Core i9.

The reviewers have gotten two CPU models - Core i9-10900K and Core i5-10600K which are pictured below. Just as a reminder, reviews of these CPUs should go live on May 20th. If you want to get a Z490 motherboard for one of these CPUs, you can pre-order motherboard from your favorite vendor starting from today.

ASUS Launches Its ROG Bezel-Free Kits for Multi-monitor Configurations

Monitors being hailed as bezel-free is one of those gimmicks of which you know as soon as you read that listed feature. While some monitors carry bezels as thin as one can imagine, the fact of the matter is that there is always some extra material on the edges of the panel, which will always detract from a multi-monitor experience. Back in 2018, ASUS showcased a Bezel-free kit that would be available for sale. The workings are simple: align your monitors at a certain angle (130º is what ASUS recommends), use the transparent (PET + film) material on bezels that are less than 13 mm, attach the clips to the bottom and top of your monitors, and voila. By the miracle of refraction, your bezels will disappear, while your monitor's images will be extended, seamlessly transitioning between monitors.

This is an interesting solution, and certainly of value for gamers on multi-monitor systems. Keep in mind your screen diagonals will have to be smaller than 27" for this piece of technology to work. The ASUS ROG Bezel-Free Kit is now available at $110 a pop.

G.SKILL Announces Extreme Low Latency DDR4-4000 CL15 32GB Memory Kits

G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd., the world's leading manufacturer of extreme performance memory and gaming peripherals, is delighted to announce an extreme low-latency, high-speed DDR4 memory kit at DDR4-4000 CL15-16-16-36 in a 32 GB (8 GB x4) capacity configuration under the classic Trident Z and the RGB-enabled Trident Z Royal memory series.
