Lamptron ST060 Dual-Tower Air Cooler Sports Full HD 6-inch Screen

CaseKing.de has started to sell a gigantic Lamptron ST060 dual-tower CPU air cooler for €299.90 (~$325) with VAT added. Many PC hardware news sites have predicted that this sizable—153 × 152 × 120 mm (W x H x D)—cooling solution is worthy of taking on similarly proportioned competition. CaseKing's listing includes some hype material: "(the ST060) offers extremely high cooling performance thanks to its six heat pipes and two PWM RGB fans. With a 260 W TDP, the cooler is also very quiet and has immense cooling reserves for overclocked CPUs and, despite its size, can be installed even with the mainboard installed." The integrated 6-inch 1920x1080 screen is the ST060's other selling point—DeepCool's (recently TPU reviewed) AK620 dual-tower cooler sports a large-ish top-mounted mini monitor, although its functionality is quite limited. Lamptron states that their new model is prepped for full AIDA64 integration; a license for this software suite is bundled in.

The integrated screen requires connection to USB Type-A and HDMI ports—perhaps a major annoyance—fortunately mini USB to USB and HDMI cables are included in the box. Additionally, software and digital instructions are uploaded onto a bundled USB-A flash drive. The base Lamptron ST060 model is joined by ARGB equipped alternatives—CaseKing has a product page for a black fan version (LAMP-ST060AB, also priced at €299.90), but it is not available to purchase yet. Tom's Hardware believes that a white fan model (LAMP-ST060AW) is also incoming—they documented some basic aesthetic differences: "In addition to the fans being different, the ARGB versions have a silver heatsink as opposed to the black heatsink on the regular version." Lamptron's ST060 air cooler appears to be an Intel socket-centric product, with support for LGA1366, LGA1200, LGA115x, LGA1700, and LGA2011. Team Red enthusiasts will be disappointed about compatibility being limited to AM4. Overclocking.com expressed surprise regarding Lamptron's re-emergence with new products—many assumed that the company was in a dormant state for a long time.

Lamptron Launches HM070 Flip LCD PC Hardware Monitor

Lamptron have recently launched the HM070 Flip display for PC hardware monitoring, designed to be installed within a PC case the unit can automatically flip the screen open when powered on. We have previously reviewed the Lamptron HM070 Lift which features the same 7" 1024x600 LCD display in a lifting configuration. The HM070 Flip includes integration with AIDA64 software to display hardware information with various provided templates designed specifically for the display. The unit can be installed in the top or bottom of certain cases with dimensions of 182.5 mm x 130 mm x 30 mm (125 mm when screen unfolded). The device also includes a remote control for manual operation and is powered via a 5 V Micro USB connector with HDMI used for the display.

Lamptron Unveils CU135 ARGB Fan and Lighting Controller

Lamptron today unveiled its flagship fan- and lighting controller for gaming PCs, the CU135. The set consists the main control unit that you can tuck behind your case's motherboard tray; a display module that you install right under your graphics card (along the plane of the motherboard); and an RF remote control. The main control unit takes in either one 4-pin Molex or one SATA power connection for power, and puts out six each of high-power 4-pin PWM fan headers (36 W per channel), and 3-pin addressable-RGB lighting headers. It also takes in six 2-pin thermal diodes (included in the package), along with a proprietary connection for the display module.

The multi-color 7.84-inch LCD touchscreen display lets you view fan-speeds and temperatures across all six zones on the home screen. Using this touchscreen, you can also draw up fan-curves for each of the six zones, set color and lighting patterns for each of the six lighting zones, read temperatures from the six external sensors. The included RF remote control lets you do all this, without having to reach up to your case. The CU135 can also take in 3-pin ARGB connection from your motherboard, so you can copy lighting profiles over from your control software. The control module measures 121.5 mm × 72.5 mm × 21 mm (WxHxD), while the display module measures 360 mm × 70 mm × 12.5 mm, taking up 3 expansion slots inside the case. You can find other places for the module (such as your desk top). The company didn't reveal pricing.

Lamptron Unveils SM436 Sync Edition PCI RGB-Fan and LED-Controller

In times of Tempered Glass, not only the cooling performance and volume development of the PCs want to be adapted to their own and changing requirements, but also the RGB lighting suitable for the hardware. The Lamptron SM436 Sync Edition PCI RGB & Fan Controller offers not only extensive functionality, but also high compatibility. It runs up to four fans with or without PWM control and RGB products with or without digital RGB LEDs. The separate LC display can be attached to PCI slots, which can be admired by a transparent side section made of hard or acrylic glass. The control is operated by an infrared remote control.

Lamptron Intros CL420 Fan + RGB LED Controller

Lamptron, the specialist in PC fan controllers, rolled out the CL420, a combination of a fan-controller, and an RGB LED lighting controller. The unit fits into a 5.25-inch drive bay, and gives you four domains, with two selectors, each - fan-speed, and color spectrum. In the fan-speed mode, you can adjust speed of up to four 4-pin PWM fans per domain. In the color mode, you turn the same knob to adjust color from across the 16.7 million-color RGB spectrum. It's not just fans, you can also directly plug in your RGB LED strips. The company didn't mention pricing, but announced that the CL420 will go on sale some time this August.

Lamptron Announces CM615 Fan Controller

Lamptron announced the CM615 multi-channel fan-controller. Built in the 5.25-inch form-factor, it can handle up to six channels, supplying up to 30W of power, each. The controller draws power form a 4-pin Molex connector, and plugs in to your motherboard, using a standard USB 2.0/1.1 header. Using that, it can interface with its included software, which can let you monitor, log, and stream your cooling data over the Internet. The controller features a brushed aluminium bezel, framing an LED touchscreen. The controller lets you control fans either arbitrarily, or using temperature targets, with which the controller handles speeds to maintain a target. You can also create speed/temperature curves using the software, for the controller to follow. It features start boost, with which you can fire up all fans to 100%, at system start-up. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability information.

Lamptron Unveils Fan Controller with Nixie Tubes

Remember how numbers were electronically displayed just before LEDs and seven-segments? Incandescent bulbs called Nixie tubes? Lamptron appears to have caught a hold of some new old stock of Nixies, and decided to make a fan-controller based on them, which could be ideal for steampunk-themed builds. Called the FC10, the controller drives four fan channels, and speed is displayed on a scale of 0-9, using those Nixies. The controller draws power from a 4-pin Molex connector, and can supply each channel with up to 30W of power. It fits into a 5.25-inch drive bay. Lamptron is expected to sell the FC10 from later this month.

Lamptron Announces FC5V3 Fan Controller

Lamptron has just launched the new FC5V3 fan controller, which is not only a revision of the FC5V2 but it is a real step forward in the evolution of this kind of products. This fan controller is positioned to become the new datum point in the cooling domain. In fact, the Lamptron FC5V3 has 6 channels and can handle up to 30 W per channel. The new wide LCD display shows all the information (RPM, temperature and voltage) for every channel.

Moreover, the display allows a new level of customization providing 16 different colors for the illumination of the LCD display. The FC5V3 integrates all the commands directly on the front of the fan controller for an enhanced and quicker access to all the functions. Moreover, the FC5V3 provides an initial 12 V in all the channels in order to make the fans work even if set at the minimum working voltage. The new Lamptron FC5V3 provide all these new features and much more.
