Buffalo Unveils New Bluetooth Mouse

Buffalo Inc. today announced a new, wireless peripheral, the BSMBB17 mouse which can connect directly via Bluetooth (it has Bluetooth 3.0 support) to mobile devices like notebooks and tablets. Coming in three color versions - red, black and white, and without an adapter, the mouse features a range of up to 10 meters, a 1600 DPI BlueLED optical sensor, rubber side grips, four buttons, a scroll wheel, and a continuous battery life of up to 377 hours (two AA batteries are required).

Buffalos' BSMBB17 mouse is set to ship in January 2014 bearing a price tag of 4,200 yen (~ 41 USD).

Gigabyte Upgrades the M7580 Wireless Mouse

Gigabyte Technology is currently preparing to release an updated version of the M7580 wireless mouse. Dubbed simply M7580 V2, the new arrival swaps the 1000 DPI-capable optical sensor of its predecessor for one that will allow a sensitivity of up to 1600 DPI. Other than the sensor, things remain pretty much the same as the first version - an ambidextrous design, 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, two buttons and a scroll wheel, a low-power indicator, a battery life of up to five months (two AAA batteries are used), and a bundled nano received (USB).

The M7580 V2 will come with a two-year warranty. No word on pricing but it should be similar to that of the initial version, around 10 Euro.

Buffalo to Release Adapter-Free Bluetooth Mouse

Buffalo has just announced a new, wireless peripheral, a mouse codenamed BSMBB16 which uses Bluetooth (3.0) technology to connect directly, without the need of an adapter, to PCs or tablets. No adapter means one less occupied USB port that can be used for hooking up other devices. In case your system doesn't have Bluetooth support, an adapter will be available for purchase.

Coming in three color versions - black, white and navy (blue), the BSMBB16 measures 106 x 40 x 76 mm, it has a 1000 dpi Blue Focus blue LED sensor, a rubber side grip, four buttons, a scroll wheel, and requires one AA battery for power. Buffalo is set to release the mouse later this month at 3,465 yen (~ 35 USD).

Buffalo to Release New, Windows 8.1-Ready Wireless Mouse

By the end of this month Buffalo will be releasing a new peripheral, the BSMBW09 Series wireless mouse. This model measures 73 x 107 x 40 mm and features 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, a Blue LED sensor with a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi, a scroll wheel and four buttons including two side buttons for quick access to the Windows 8.1 Start Screen and Charms Bar.

Buffalo's mouse can offer up to 134 hours of continuous use on a single battery and comes in six color versions - black, white, silver, blue, red and pink. The BSMBW09 is set to cost 3,465 yen (~ 35 USD).

Gigabyte Rolls Out the Aivia Uranium Wireless Gaming Mouse

Gigabyte Technology has now officially released a new Aivia Series peripheral, the Aivia Uranium gaming mouse which features wireless (2.4 GHz) connectivity and comes bundled with a device called the GHOST Macro Station. The station is equipped with an OLED display and allows the user to view and change the mouse's DPI value and report rate, to re-assign macro hotkeys, and to check battery life.
