Phanteks Unveils Enthoo EVOLV ITX Chassis

Phanteks covered all its bases of its Enthoo EVOLV series, with one for the budding mini-ITX form-factor, the Enthoo EVOLV ITX. Retaining the design of its bigger siblings, this case seats a mini-ITX motherboard in a standard perpendicular tray, with two expansion slots.

Inside, it's partitioned into two halves, the bottom one holding the PSU tray and a few drive bays, while the upper one is almost exclusively a motherboard tray, with several clever fan-mounting features. For example, the case can hold three 120 mm fans on its top, and a tray holding those, slides out. There's no dearth of room, and you can install CPU coolers as tall, and graphics cards as long, as you would on a conventional ATX tower.

Phanteks Also Announces the TC14S Slim Dual-tower CPU Cooler

Phanteks announces the release of the PHTC14S. A slim dual tower CPU cooler designed from the concept of the award-winning PH-TC14PE. The PH-TC14S incorporates the dual tower and performance from the PH-TC14PE but in a slimmer form. PH-TC14S's slim form elminates any conflicts with high RAM and VRM modules in newer motherboards. The six 6mm nickel plated heatpipes with the slim aluminum fins improves heat distribution and creates better thermal convection resulting in immediate cooling.

Standing only 6.3 inches in height and 2.83 inches in width, the PH-TC14S follows INTEL's Keep-Out-Zone. Thanks to the slim design, compatiblity issues of high RAM and VRM modules are non-exsistent. PH-TC14S uses Phanteks' patented P.A.T.S. technology which has been proven to withstand high temperatures and increases cooling performance by deflecting thermal radiation from other heat sources.

Phanteks Announces the TC12LS Low-Profile CPU Cooler

Phanteks announces the release of the PHTC12LS, a low profile CPU cooler. The PH-TC12LS comes equipped with the latest PHF120MP PWM High Static Pressure fan designed to overcome airflow restriction caused by high fin density.

Designed specifically for HTPC, the PHTC12LS stands at only 47mm tall (74mm with fan) and compatible with 99mm small form factor case. The six 6mm C-type nickel plated heatpipes with the slim aluminium stacked fins delivers thermal conductivity more efficiently. The new design aluminium stacked fins are slimmer, resulting in faster heat distribution on the surface of the fins.

The Enthoo EVOLV starts out as a 2-compartment chassis, except that the top one, which in cubical cases, features motherboard tray typically flat on the bottom (along the plane of the bottom); actually has a tower-like perpendicular motherboard tray. This tray has a massive 'crawl space' behind it, letting you tame not just your cable spaghetti, but also coolant tubing. There are no 5.25-inch drive bays, but two 3.5-inch internal trays, and two additional 2.5-inch ones behind the motherboard tray. Cooling system includes a massive 200 mm front intake, and a 120 mm rear exhaust.

Phanteks Shows off PH-TC14S and PH-TC14LS Slim CPU Coolers

Phanteks showed off a pair of interesting slim aluminium fin-stack CPU coolers, the PH-TC14S and PH-TC14LS (pictured in that order below). The PH-TC14S is a unique D-type heatsink, built using two slim black aluminium fin stacks, with the cooler's only fan, a F140HP-PWM, being nestled between the two stacks. The PH-TC14LS, on the other hand, is a compact C-type heatsink, with one slim aluminium fin-stack, and the same F140HP-PWM fan. This fan can take PWM control, and spins between 600 and 1,300 RPM, pushing up to 88.6 CFM of air.

Phanteks Enthoo Mini XL Case Pictured

Here are the first pictures of Phanteks' attempt at an enthusiast micro-ATX case. It may be a micro-ATX case, but at 260 mm x 480 mm x 550 mm (WxDxH), it is nearly as big as an ATX mid-tower. The extra room is used not for additional expansion slots (making it an ATX case), but room for additional drives, or water-cooling components. It carries over much of its styling and utility features over from the Enthoo Prime, the full-tower that catapulted Phanteks to the top of the list of interesting case designers to look out for. Among its most notable features are dust filters for all fan intakes, intakes supporting large (>140 mm) fans, room for large 280 x 140 mm radiators, and room for as many drives as a mid-tower.
A video presentation of the case and its various features, follows.
