RAIDON announces new Thunderbolt RAID storage - SR4-TB2 and SR8-TB2 at NAB show 2017, not only comes with Thunderbolt interface but with Hardware RAID chip inside!

STARDOM SR4-TB2 supports four 3.5" or 2.5" hard drive or SSD (Solid State Drive) and SR8-TB2 supports eight drives. Both models come with dual Thunderbolt 2 ports, the data transfer rate will be 4x faster than USB3.1. It also supports daisy chain to let you connect up to six Thunderbolt devices through one cable. Embedded one Hardware RAID chip inside, SR4-TB2 supports the RAID level - RAID 0,1,5,6,10 and JBOD, and SR8-TB2 supports RAID 0,1,5,6,10,50,60 and JBOD.

RAIDON announced the ST2-TB dual-bay HDD enclosure with Thunderbolt, with the ability to store up to 16 TB. The ST2-TB built-in with two disk configuration modes: RAID 1 (Safe Mode), RAID 0 (Speed Mode), and JBOD (Two Independent Volumes) for you to choose according to your needs.

In this mode, you can install two disks that have different volumes and use them independently.There is no RAID configuration and without special safety or speed differences. You can also use this mode in apply with other STARDOM modules.

The new iR2622 is an internal (6Gbps) RAID module designed in 2 of 5.25" CD-Rom bay to satisfy the demands of SMB and industrial computing environment. With LCD tents leaving you to easily grasp HDD status. User-friendly display, equipped with clear readable LCD display and LED indicators for system monitoring during operations, so users can easily grasp the status of the system at all times. Moreover, it comes with visual and audio alarms whenever failure occurs.

If drive replacement becomes necessary, the iR2622 is modular designed for effortless removal and install of drives. It's also protected by a locking mechanism to secure the drive into place. The new tray design is support either 2.5" or 3.5" for user to easy change. iR2622 is equipped with an 6cm fan located a the rear and comes with the SMART fan functionality where the fan spins at half speed when reaching above 30°C and full speed when reaching 40℃. With this clever design, you can work quietly without bother by fan noises unless the hard drives become vulnerable due to high temperature.

The two Thunderbolt 2 ports on ST4-TB features dual 20-Gbps channels for data transfer and that's up to four times faster than USB 3. And since Thunderbolt is based on Display Port technology, Mini Display Port devices like Apple LED Cinema Display can plugs right in, too.

For field editing applications, the ST4-TB can be made portable as it comes with a grip handle, which you can choose to install for making creative contents mobile convenient and less bulky. With two optional storage modes, user can choose between RAID 0 and independent mode. In RAID 0 mode, the enclosed four drives will be striped and combined into one large volume for storage to enhance the data transfer speed performance. Under the Independent mode, the enclosed drives are seen as four separate volumes instead of one single volume.

RAIDON InTANK iR2770 has a patented design that allows two 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD to be fitted into one 3.5"drive space! It's equipped with optional RAID 0 to enhance the speed of transfer compare to a regular hard drive or switch to RAID 1 for an efficient and securer data backup. RAIDON iR2770 internal RAID module supports SATA 6G/bs host interface and SATA 22 pin power supply; the connector location exactly the same with a 3.5"hard drive. Thus it is not necessary to install any other brackets but just install the iR2770 to existing operating system and then the system will be upgraded as a RAID storage to secure data!

With Removable Drive Trays, in a various application range, the unique design of SATA connection gives itself removable characteristics; through RAIDON's removable trays, removing and installing SATA hard drives is more comprehensive and secure. The secure removable hard drive trays, users can easily move the entire hard drive like moving an entire video library. The GR3660-B3 is a full-featured simple and easy dual bay storage device, along with RAID 0 (Striping), RAID 1 (Mirroring), and JBOD three application modes, with Super Speed USB3.0 transmission interface, not only with fast transmission performance but also easily content data safety with 8TB large storage capacity or information exchange requirement.

GR3660-B3 is compatible with all brands of 4TB SATA hard drives. Install two 4TB hard drives under RAID 0 mode and the system will provide 8TB of access. Independent JBOD mode can offer independent storage areas even if the hard drives are of different capacities.

RAIDON announced the Runner R2420-B3, a dual 2.5-inch SATA external enclosure. It can enclose two 9.5 mm-thick 2.5-inch SATA hard drives or solid-state drives, and offers RAID capabilities. The two drives are held in place by caddies that eject the drive when the lid is opened (push to eject).

The SATA 3 Gb/s controller offers RAID JBOD, RAID 0 (performance) and RAID 1 (redundancy) modes, which can be configured by setting a pair of DIP switches on the back of the enclosure. The controller connects to the host using USB 3.0 interface. The enclosure draws power from an external 5V AC adapter. Measuring 174 mm x 105 mm x 33 mm (L x W x H), its dry-weight is about 490 g. The company did not give out pricing information.

RAIDON releases the latest USB3.0 storage module with energy saving mode, GR3630-SB3, to respond the current concept of environmental protection.

RAIDON GR3630-SB3 is able to synchronize with PC to standby or sleeping mode for reaching energy saving concept. GR3630 accommodates 2 of 3.5" HDD over 3 TB each and collocates with USB3.0 host interface to deliver excitement to users from experiencing a conspicuous increment in performance. In addition, it embedded eSATA interfaces for data transfer options to eliminate possible USB upgrade hassles for users.

During the 2012 CeBIT exhibition, RAIDON will be announcing the latest HyBrid Drive, Runner series, which is utilizing SSD as an accessing cache to efficiently accelerate HDDs performance.

Combining the advantages of both HDD (capacity) and SSD (speed), the latest innovation of Runner series uses the cache of SSD to improve HDD and access performances. Runner series may accelerate each inserted HDD and operate in various O.S. without a specific hardware environment or software installation/configuration. In addition, RAIDON Runner series are only required one SSD to accelerate multiple HDDs, which means HDD could be replaced for delivering an optimal performance.

RAIDON is releasing the new generation of SAS storage solutions, GR2880 and GR4880. These models can to be easily deployed while offering a stable performance and scheduled backup to the SMB. GR2880 and GR4880 offer remarkable SAS storage solutions, embed dual SAS host interface to the fastest data throughput for an extraordinary performance, also provides up to RAID 6 the highest RAID level protection to data from work station and data server for a secured operating environment.

Both models also provide snapshot function which only offered from high standard storage devices. This function will backup stored data in records from designation time, to prevent data encounters inevitable problems through capability of restoring primitive correct data from files of saved records.

RAIDON unveiled a new Internal RAID module-MR2020 is in the market. With the aim to industrial market and embedded application, MR2020 accepts two 2.5-inch hard drives to enhance the reliability of the system and supports RAID 1 for instantly data backup.

Considering the advantages of 2.5-inch hard drives such as less noise, heat-resistance, stability, less heat production and space saving etc, RAIDON transfers the hardware backup technology from 3.5-inch hard drives to 2.5-inch. MR2020, an internal storage module designed for working in IPC, product lines, servers and work stations.
