PowerColor Readying Spectral White Radeon RX 9060 XT Hellhound & Reaper SKUs

PowerColor introduced four custom Radeon RX 9060 XT options during Computex 2025; consisting of standard black mid-range Hellhound and entry-level Reaper models. The dark 16 GB and 8 GB launch lineup will be joined by Spectral White sibling in the near future. The manufacturer's China website was updated with three pale alternatives at some point last week. Currently, only the Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB Hellhound Spectral White SKU has made tracks over to the Taiwanese brand's global web presence. The company's Navi 44 XT GPU-based portfolio is not expected to welcome premium-tier Red Devil entries, so the current collection—of seven distinct offerings—will suffice.

Curiously, the two Reaper models seem to differ in terms of clock speeds. As noted by VideoCardz, this specification disparity reflects a recently reported difference between Yeston's Radeon RX 9060 XT 16 GB and 8 GB GAEA SKUs. Almost akin to patterns exhibited by the Chinese AIB's baseline MSRP conformant products, the PowerColor Reaper 16 GB card seems to boast greater game and boost clock digits when compared to its 8 GB sibling: +90 MHz and 100 MHz (respectively). At first, Yeston's GAEA spec charts were believed to contain placeholder info or anomalous data. The appearances of comparable PowerColor examples indicate an advantageous position for certain 16 GB GDDR6 VRAM-equipped models.

PowerColor Unveils Limited Edition RED DEVIL Spectral White AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Graphics Card

PowerColor, a global leader in high-performance graphics card innovation, proudly announces the Red Devil Spectral White AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16 GB - a limited-edition masterpiece that marks a first for the iconic Red Devil series. For years, gamers have admired the elegance of Spectral White designs, and now, for the first time, PowerColor brings that vision to life with the Red Devil's flagship performance.

A True Spectral White Marvel
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the Red Devil Spectral White redefines what it means to blend form and function. From the PCB and heatsink to the cooler shroud and power connectors, every component has been precision-engineered in pure white, delivering a truly unified aesthetic rarely seen in high-performance GPUs. At the heart of its design lies Hellstone—a signature multi-faceted RGB element positioned at the tail of the card. It radiates vivid, customizable lighting that glows like a mystical crystal, making the Spectral White model not just a GPU, but a centerpiece of any gaming setup. Gamers can control the lighting via RGB headers, offering seamless synchronization with the rest of their system.

PowerColor Red Devil AMD RX 9070 To Get Fresh Coat of Paint with Leaked Spectral White Edition

The ominously named PowerColor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT looks to be getting the same treatment as the Hellhound Spectral White edition with an all-white Spectral Edition refresh. While the design has yet to be confirmed by PowerColor, it has seemingly leaked on Amazon ahead of the official announcement. While the page seems to have been taken down by the retail giant, VideoCardz managed to grab some images of the new white AMD RX 9070 XT GPU before it was removed.

Much like the Hellhound Spectral Edition, the Red Devil Spectral Edition has been completely drained of color. Even the hallmark Red Devil logo on the cooling fins in the backplate cutout and the illuminated Hellstone at the end of the RX 9070's shroud seems to have a clearer acrylic cover, as opposed to the smoky acrylic cover on the standard issue Red Devil card. Everything else on the Red Devil Spectral White edition seems to be identical to the regular Red Devil RX 9070 XT. Pricing also seems to be identical to the original, at $899 or €929. A launch date for the Spectral White RX 9070 XT Red Devil is unclear at the time of writing, but it will likely be soon, given its appearance on Amazon.

PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound Spectral White Design Leaked

PowerColor's Radeon RX 9070 XT Hellhound model is a known property—in terms of its visual presentation—due to a public unveiling at CES 2025, as well as renders appearing online via official product pages. The Taiwanese manufacturer has decided to update its custom graphics card designs for AMD's incoming RDNA 4 generation—for example; the flagship Red Devil family is also refreshed for 2025. So far, PowerColor has showcased "standard black" Red Devil, Hellhound and Reaper designs. Rumors of additional Spectral White variants were circulating online earlier in the week.

Chinese market-exclusive PowerColor Radeon RX 7650 GRE Reaper models were launched very recently, complete with a Spectral White option. Following this official launch, VideoCardz picked up on inside track information; pointing to possible pale variants of forthcoming RDNA 4-based Red Devil cards. Days later, another PowerColor leak has unearthed an unannounced Spectral White SKU, albeit in Hellhound flavor. This product family usually offers a nice balance of high-end features and favorable pricing; we hope to see concrete details tomorrow. The leaked Hellhound card seems to feature an almost all-white aesthetic; extending to its PCB design and I/O bracket. No major surprises were disclosed in VideoCardz's report, but they noted a potential absence of RGB lighting zones. Previous-gen Hellhounds sport "fixed-color" schemes; enabling blue or purple lighting.

PowerColor Debuts Reaper Series in China, Starting with Radeon RX 7650 GRE SKUs

PowerColor China has published two new Radeon RX 7650 GRE product pages on its website; indicating that more Reaper series graphics cards are on the way. TechPowerUp inspected an example at CES 2025, but that particular triple-fan model housed upcoming RDNA 4 GPU tech. PowerColor's brand-new "Reaper" family is rolling out in the near future; acting as a replacement to their familiar budget-friendly "Fighter" tier. The manufacturer released its Radeon RX 7650 GRE Hellhound (mid-range) card earlier this month—the standard black and Spectral White Reaper models are expected to arrive with slightly lower pricing, likely conforming to AMD's official MSRP guideline (2099 RMB/~$289 USD).

The latest report—from VideoCardz—suggests that PowerColor will be expanding its portfolio of Spectral White graphics card designs. Company insiders hinted about incoming pale Radeon RX 9070 XT options; namely a new pale Hellhound offering. The Taiwanese firm is reportedly considering the release of a Spectral White spin-off of their Radeon 9070 XT Red Devil model—potentially, the first of its kind to get a pale aesthetic treatment. PowerColor's demon-themed flagship card series—traditionally—sports black shroud and backplate designs, with red accents and lighting zones. A speculative designation of "Red Devil Spectral White" seems to be quite clumsy; so a snappier title could be in the works.

PowerColor Radeon RX 6600 XT Hellhound Pink Edition Teased

PowerColor is readying a Japan-specific Pink Edition variant of the Radeon RX 6600 XT Hellhound graphics card. For the most part, this is a Spectral White color-scheme variant of the RX 6600 XT Helhound, but with pink replacing the blue bits, to match the colors of the Japanese Spring. We're not sure what's the design message PowerColor is trying to convey with its combination of a butch, violent branding of a predator and "Hellhound" name, combined with flowers and petals, but here's one for those who can find meaning. It's possible that the two 100 mm fans of the cooler light up in pink, out of the box. VideoCardz theorizes that this could even the RX 6650 XT Hellhound Pink Edition, but there's no way of telling, for now.

The pictures reveal not just the all-white PCB from the teaser, but also a comprehensive whitewash that extends to the cooler shroud, the backplate, the fan-hub embellishment stickers, and even the metal rear I/O bracket. Out of the box, the RGB illumination of the three fans appears to be bright-white, but you can customize it to be anything. There's also a physical switch to turn the lighting off. There's no word on whether the Spectral White has any different state of tune than the normal RX 6700 XT HellHound. A product launch could be just around the corner.

Update 08:01 UTC: PowerColor just formally launched the card. The press-release follows, the card has the same clocks as the vanilla HellHound.
