Intel today released the latest version of Arc GPU Graphics Drivers. Version 101.5074 Beta adds optimization for "Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora," with an up to 8% performance uplift seen at 1080p with Ultra settings, as measured with an Arc A770 GPU. The drivers fix a handful of game-specific issues. Total War: Pharaoh exhibits display corruption upon changing game resolution on certain displays; which has been fixed. Application crashes with the original "Alan Wake" (DirectX 9) has been fixed. A colorful pixed corruption with "Cyberpunk 2077" has been fixed. Flickering pixels during gameplay with 4x MSAA enabled for "Counter Strike 2" has been fixed. A sporadic application crash with "Gostrunner 2" has been fixed. An application crash with "Far Cry 3" has been fixed.

Intel today released the latest version of Arc GPU Graphics Drivers. Version 101.4972 beta fixes an issue with "Starfield" posting lower than expected performance with game patch version 1.8.86 on Arc GPUs. The drivers don't include any new performance updates or bug fixes, but Intel has taken the opportunity to identify a few new issues to address in its future driver updates, spanning games such as "Ghostrunner 2," "Total War: Pharaoh," "Dead by Daylight," and Topaz Video AI. Intel Graphics has released the latest version of Arc GPU Graphics Drivers, version 101.4953 WHQL. This one comes with a several fixes for Starfield, Alan Wake 2, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and World War Z games. Intel fixed flickering color corruption in the sky during night scenes in Starfield, corruption issues on water and reflective surfaces in Alan Wake 2, lower performance in the Xbox Game Pass version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and lower performance in the Epic Games Store version of World War Z.

Intel did not fix all of the issues as Starfield is still having trouble with Dynamic Resolution Scaling, which can be fixed by using the Render Resolution Scale slider. Intel also lists known issues with Ghostrunner 2, Total War: Pharaoh, and Dead by Daylight games, as well as errors with some models for video enhancement in Topaz Video AI.

Intel today released the latest version of Arc GPU Graphics Drivers. Version 101.4887 beta adds support for the new Arc A580 desktop graphics card, which you'll hear more about soon. The drivers also add optimization for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III" (beta), "Total War: Pharaoh," and "Lords of the Fallen." The drivers also offer performance improvements for "Starfield," with up to 117% performance uplifts at 1080p with Ultra settings, and up to 149% uplifts at 1440p with High settings, as measured with an Arc A770.

The drivers also introduce performance uplifts for "Forza Motorsport," with up to 8% uplift at 1080p with Ultra settings; and "F1 23," which now yields up to 12% gains at 1440p with Ultra High settings; and up to 136% at 4K with Ultra High settings. With this release, Intel fixed a bug that caused "Minecraft" (DirectX 12) to exhibit color corruption in night scenes with DXR ray tracing enabled.

Prepare to journey back to the late Bronze Age! 🏺 The Early Access Weekend is an exciting opportunity for you to enjoy a carefully curated presentation of the game that includes two playable factions from two different cultures, a selection of Ancient Legacies, the full campaign map as well as all battle mechanics and most campaign mechanics. The game is playable for up to 60 turns, which can be replayed as often as you like during this time period.

This is the first time we're offering a pre-order bonus like this and we're proud to give you the chance to try part of the game a little earlier! We're currently focusing all available energies on polishing and delivering a smooth and enjoyable launch, so the Early Access Weekend is not a beta test. Total War: Pharaoh's release date via Epic Games Store has been delayed into early 2024, but its Steam launch time remains unchanged—it is still scheduled for October 11 (at the time of writing). It seems that Epic Games has added to the development team's pile of homework—Creative Assembly shared this information through its social media account(s): "We have moved the Epic Games Store release of Total War Pharaoh into early 2024. We were recently asked to help support the integration of additional social functions before we can launch on the Epic Games Store," it explains, "and we'll need additional time to help make that happen." Epic's listing simply states that Sega Europe's upcoming turn-based/strategy real-time tactics game will be "Coming Soon."

Customers with pre-orders already placed on the Epic Games Store should be issued notifications regarding automatic cancellations and refunds. Customer support team members will also get in contact regarding existing pre-release purchases. The Total War department apologized for any inconveniences caused, but affected folks are more than welcome to re-direct their cash to another shop: "We're disappointed too, and that we otherwise look forward to welcoming you into Ancient Egypt early next year. Otherwise our plans to launch Total War: Pharaoh on October 11th across all other storefronts remain unchanged, and we're excited to see you playing during our upcoming Early Access Weekend starting next Friday, September 29th."
