Kingston Technology Releases 1.35V Registered DDR3L Memory Modules Validated by Intel

Kingston Technology Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of Kingston Technology Company, the independent world leader in memory products, today announced that its low-voltage registered dual inline memory modules (RDIMMs) have been validated for use in the upcoming Intel Westmere-EP processor-based server platforms. The Kingston ValueRAM DDR3L ('L' for low voltage) 1333MHz (1.35 volt) server RDIMMs were certified on Intel's Westmere reference platform.

Kingston is proud to offer customers our 1.35-volt server memory and having it certified for use with Intel's next-generation Xeon processors," said Stephane Rizzetto European Product Development Manager for DRAM of Kingston Technology. "Our low voltage registered server memory helps lower total cost of ownership in datacenters as it uses less power, thus producing less heat than equivalent 1.5-volt modules resulting in lower cooling costs for memory-dense servers."

Kingston Receives 1333 MHz DDR3 Server Memory Validation from Intel

Kingston Technology Company, the independent world leader in memory products, today announced its 1333 MHz DDR3 server memory modules were validated by Intel for use on its Xeon processor-based motherboards. Kingston's registered ECC server ValueRAM DIMMs are optimized to take advantage of the triple-channel architecture for Intel's newest server platforms using the new Nehalem-based Xeon processors. The 1333 MHz DDR3 server modules will be available in 3 GB and 6 GB triple-channel kits. Kingston server memory is backed by a lifetime warranty and free, 24/7 technical support. Kingston Readying 24 GB DDR3 ValueRAM Kit

Kingston Memory putting memory technology development in the right direction, by upping the per-module density to 4 GB. When produced in a large scale, the modules may go into making 2x 4 GB dual-channel, 3x 4 GB and 6x 4 GB triple-channel memory kits. The company put engineering samples of its new 4 GB ValueRAM modules to test.

In its teaser video (dubbed tech demo), using a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 and Intel Core i7 920 based system, Kingston was able to demonstrate a mammoth 24 GB of system system memory by smoothly operating several virtual machines, which serves as a valid test to show how 24 GB of memory helps. The video was posted on YouTube and can be watched here. Kingston notes its pre-production 6x 4 GB kit to cost around $2000 to produce.

Kingston Launches HyperX DDR3 2GHz Triple-Channel Memory Kits

After OCZ, Corsair and G.Skill, Kingston is now launching new HyperX DDR3 triple-channel kits designed specifically for the new Intel-based X58 motherboards.
"Kingston is excited to bring the fastest DDR3 triple channel memory products to market as we are the first to deliver 2000MHz gaming kits of three with Intel's reduced voltage," said Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager, Kingston. "All of our triple-channel kits can be overclocked manually or by using XMP-ready profiles. The 2GHz modules have been tested to support up to that speed on ASUS P6T Deluxe motherboards while the Intel DX58SO motherboards have been tested up to 1600MHz."
In addition to the top-of-the-line 2000MHz modules, Kingston's family of triple-channel kits include 1866MHz, 1800MHz, and low-latency 1600MHz and 1375MHz speeds. Kingston ValueRAM kits of three are also available in 1333MHz and 1066MHz speeds:
