EK Releases Water Blocks for Reference Design NVIDIA RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards

EK, the leading computer cooling solutions provider, is ready to offer its premium high-performance GPU water block for reference PCB layout NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards. The brand new water block is aptly named EK-Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB, and it is very important to keep in mind that this reference design water block is not meant for Founders Edition graphics cards - those will get their own, separate, specifically designed EK water blocks.

"This latest graphics card launch was no different from the last one. The information that was available to us prior to the launch was very scarce. With new information surfacing each hour, we had made some drastic decisions that we thought were the best choice for both our customers and our partners. Over the night, we have completely redesigned our 2nd generation Vector water blocks aimed for reference layout graphics cards," said Edvard König, the founder of EK.

Bykski Unveils Full Coverage Water Block for NVIDIA RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 Ampere

Bykski Tuesday unveiled its full-coverage water-block for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 and RTX 3080 "Ampere" Founders Edition graphics cards (model: N-RTX3090-X). The block works with both the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 Founders Edition cards as both share a common PCB design, with a few bits changed for the RTX 3090, such as added height and NVLink fingers. The block uses nickel-plated copper as its primary material, with two options for the top - clear acrylic, or POM acetal. The acrylic variant is studded with addressable RGB LEDs.

The main coolant channel of the N-RTX3090-X passes through all the hot components on the business end of the PCB, including a micro-fin lattice over the GPU, and mirror-finish contact surfaces for both the GPU and memory chips. The block comes with support for standard G 1/4" fittings. In addition to the N-RTX3090-X, Bykski unveiled the B-VGA-SC-FX Custom Mount (to be purchased separately), an accessory with an LCD segment screen that displays coolant temperature. The N-RTX3090-X is expected to be priced at 140€.

EK Announces Quantum Vector RTX 3080/3090 D-RGB Water Blocks

The moment many of us were waiting for is finally here. The launch of the latest edition NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards for gamers and content creators is finally announced. The GeForce 30 Series is the 2nd generation of RTX graphics cards which are expected to become available from September 17th. Now, since many of us are very eager to get our hands on our first RTX 30 Series, and add it to our liquid cooling loops, EK is advising everyone to hold off their purchase until the compatibility list is fully confirmed.

EK is ready to release the 2nd generation of EK-Quantum Vector GPU water blocks, but since the official availability of these graphics cards is more than two weeks away, EK will hold off the pre-orders, for now, to prevent users from purchasing incompatible water blocks. Otherwise, it would cause stress and unnecessary loss of time and finances for the end-user.

Alphacool Ready with RTX 30 Series Ampere Full-coverage Water Blocks and AIOs

Alphacool revealed that it is ready with a lineup of full-coverage water blocks and all-in-one CLCs for the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series "Ampere" graphics cards. These include the new Eisblock Aurora line of full-coverage blocks that combine a nickel-plated copper primary material with an acrylic top that can be with ARGB LEDs; and the Eiswolf 2 GPU all-in-one closed-loop cooler. Alphacool says its will release variants of its products for all the RTX 30 Series SKUs announced so far, including the flagship RTX 3090, the RTX 3080, and the RTX 3070. The company didn't reveal detailed specs, pricing, or availability information.

EK Water Blocks Unveils Frosted Plexi Velocity CPU Block

EK Water Blocks, the leading premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is launching another version of the popular EK-Quantum Velocity CPU water block. The new Velocity is special for the frosted acrylic top piece, bringing unique aesthetics that aligns with the modern frosted tubing. As an added benefit, the frosted acrylic top allows for an even better diffusion of the 20 digitally addressable RGB LEDs.

The name of this water block - Velocity - was inspired by the necessity to be lean and agile in the world of liquid cooling. A high-performance CPU water block is no good if it's too restrictive on the flow and bottlenecking your entire cooling loop. Efficient coolant flow and performance should go hand in hand, and neither of the two should be sacrificed. These blocks come in two variants - AMD and Intel.

Alphacool Ready with GeForce RTX 3000 "Ampere" Water Blocks

Alphacool on its Facebook page announced that the company is ready with full-coverage water blocks for NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce RTX 3000 "Ampere" series graphics cards, and is waiting for product launch by NVIDIA, so it could start shipping its blocks. The block is designed for NVIDIA's quirky new polygonal PCB with a triangular tail-end, designed to go with its unique new cooling solution that has fans on both sides of the card. Alphacool mentioned that it's on the look out for custom-design PCBs by NVIDIA's add-in card (AIC) vendors, so it could design full-coverage blocks for them, too.

EK Water Blocks Announces the EK Quantum Flow Indicators

EK, the European premium liquid cooling gear manufacturer, is releasing a series of unique flow indicators that belong to the Quantum Line. These Quantum flow indicators visually represent the coolant flow rate, which is often hard to see with the naked eye. This can be very useful to instantly see if your loop operation is nominal or there's trouble with the pump or flow in some other area as well as looking cool! It also features addressable RGB illumination where the LEDs are covered by a stylish black anodized aluminium cover to hide the hotspots. Aside from the standalone option, there are two more that mount directly on the EK-Quantum Vector GPU water block.

This standalone flow indicator features three G1/4" ports, all of which are female. It can be mounted mid tube run with two fittings or fastened to any G1/4" port on a radiator, pump, or even a block via the use of a dual male-threaded extender. Any of the threads can be used as either inlet or outlet. It can be used in a straight flow-through setup, or it can replace a 90° angled fitting, or a 90° bend in your loop.

Aqua Computer Releases Cuplex Kryos NEXT sTRX4 FC Water Blocks

The high-performance D5 pump can create a high flow system that allows coolant to travel at a faster pace. The new mounting features also enables the Pacific PR32-D5 to be installed to a fan or a radiator so that the users can save more space.

Aqua Computer Announces Cuplex Kryos NEXT RGBpx Water Blocks

The German water cooling specialist Aqua Computer is expanding its range of CPU coolers. The newly developed cuplex kryos NEXT RGBpx series not only provides excellent cooling performance but also sets unique optical accents. This is achieved above all by the integrated lighting, which enables impressive effects thanks to the 11 individually addressable RGBpx LEDs.

The lighting is housed in an elegant CNC milled, blasted and anodized aluminium frame. The threads for mounting the cooler are also located in this frame, whereby the force is evenly distributed onto the housing, thus minimizing stress onto it. Of course, the aluminium has no contact with the coolant. The Plexiglas housing is also manufactured in a complex CNC processing. During the construction, great attention was paid to long-term stability and, for example, the material was designed with large rest-thicknesses.

EK Releases Limited Edition Memorial Day Star-Spangled Velocity Water Block
