GIGABYTE joined the 12 GB GeForce RTX 2060 comeback party with two custom-design graphics card models, the RTX 2060 D6 12G, and the larger RTX 2060 WindForce OC 12G. NVIDIA formally released the RTX 2060 12 GB on December 7. This isn't just an RTX 2060 with double the memory amount (12 GB vs. 6 GB), but also an increase in CUDA cores, to 2,176, up from 1,920 on the original. What sets the RTX 2060 12 GB apart from the RTX 2060 SUPER is that the memory bus is still 192-bit wide, compared to 256-bit on the latter.

The GIGABYTE RTX 2060 12 GB D6 features a more compact (22.4 cm long) WindForce 2X cooling solution that uses a pair of 90 mm fans. This SKU sticks to NVIDIA-reference clock speeds of 1650 MHz boost. The RTX 2060 12 GB WindForce OC, on the other hand, features a larger 26.5 cm-long board design, with 100 mm fans, and a heavier heatsink. This card packs a mild factory-overclock, running the GPU at 1680 MHz boost. Both cards rely on a single 8-pin PCIe power connector for power. The company didn't reveal pricing.

GIGABYTE has filed regulatory filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) for several Radeon RX 5500-series graphics cards, including as many as six models based on the range-topping RX 5500 XT. The filing confirms that the RX 5500 XT is real, and that all six models from GIGABYTE feature 8 GB of GDDR6 memory. The RX 5500 XT, or Navi 10 XTX is rumored to feature 24 RDNA compute units, making up 1,536 stream processors, and a 128-bit wide GDDR6 memory interface, holding 8 GB of memory. AMD possibly hopes to capture sub-$250 price points with this SKU, given that NVIDIA preempted it with the $230 GeForce GTX 1660 Super.

Among the six models, going by GIGABYTE naming conventions, are cards based on the company's WindForce 2X cooler, the Gaming OC SKU that possibly has the larger WindForce 3X cooler, and simpler models that stick to reference clock-speeds. GIGABYTE has been rather restrained with its AMD "Navi" graphics card series, with only two custom-design RX 5700-series graphics cards so far. The same EEC filing also references several additional RX 5700-series SKUs from the company, including some based on its coveted Aorus Gaming brand.

That took a little while, but GIGABYTE has finally updated their lineup with an AMD RX 590 graphics card. Based on the 12 nm-revised Polaris 30 silicon with higher clocks than those that could be achieved by its 14 nm predecessors (already the RX 480 and RX 580 graphics cards), the GIGABYTE RX 590 Gaming rbings the already well-known 2304 Stream processors, and gets them to tick at 1560 MHz (against AMD's 1545 MHz reference). It's a usual GIGABYTE graphics card by all standards, with a dual-fan WindForce 2X cooling solution with fan-stop functionality.

It seems GIGABYTE finally went through some of that unsold RX inventory, and is now looking to keep the channel supplied until the next best thing from the red team makes its appearance (hopefully sooner rather than later.)

GIGABYTE today rolled out a trio of custom-design graphics cards that implement the new GDDR5X memory equipped variant of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB. The lineup begins with the GTX 1060 6 GB D5X WindForce 2X OC (model: GV-N1060WF2OC-6GD 2.0), and goes on to the better-endowed GTX 1060 6 GB D5X WindForce 3X OC (GV-N1060WF3OC-6GD 2.0), and the range-topping GTX 1060 6 GB D5X G1.Gaming OC (GV-N1060G1 GAMING-6GD 3.0).

Out of the box, the D5X WindForce 2X OC offers clock speeds of 1556 MHz GPU core, and 1771 MHz GPU Boost, against NVIDIA-reference speeds of 1506/1708 MHz. The D5X WindForce 3X OC has the same exact clock speeds out of the box, but is endowed with a better WindForce 3X triple-fan cooler that helps sustain boost frequencies and manually overclocked speeds better. The D5X G1.Gaming tops the range with 1594 MHz core and 1809 MHz GPU Boost. Sadly all three cards run the GDDR5X memory at 8.00 GHz clock speeds. All three cards make do with a single 8-pin PCIe power input. Prices (MSRP) range from $249.99 for the WindForce 2X OC to $269.99 for the WindForce 3X OC, and $299.99 for the G1.Gaming OC.

GIGABYTE has a custom-design Radeon RX Vega series after all, with the company announcing the RX Vega 64 WindForce 2X and RX Vega 56 WindForce 2X graphics cards. These cards combine a 100% custom-design PCB by GIGABYTE, with a large WindForce 2X cooling-solution that the company is debuting with these cards. The cooler features a split aluminium fin-stack heatsink to which heat drawn by 8 mm-thick copper heat-pipes is fed; ventilated by a pair of large 100 mm fans, which stay off when the GPU is idling. The heat-pipes make direct contact with the GPU and HBM2 stacks, while a base-plate conveys heat drawn from the VRM MOSFETs.

The back-plate has a copper center-plate and a flat heat-pipe of its own, drawing heat from the PCB via non-electrically-conductive thermal pads. The two fans blow air onto the heatsink, but one fan spins clockwise to do this, while the other spins counter-clockwise. The custom-design PCB features a 13-phase VRM, and draws power from a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Both cards come with factory-overclocked speeds, with the engine-clock boosting up to 1560 MHz, while the memory clock is left untouched. The card features an unusual display connector loadout, including three each of DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 ports, all located on the rear panel. The company didn't reveal pricing.

Gigabyte has added a new custom option to its GeForce GTX 1070 Ti line-up - this time, a dual-fan solution under the "WindForce 2X" moniker (SKU code GV -N107TWF2-8GD). This graphics card takes very much after its slightly less beefy cousin, the GTX 1070 WindForce 2X, in that it features a simpler, more compact WindForce 2X cooling solution than the WindForce 3X, with a twin aluminum-fin stack heatsink ventilated by a pair of 90 mm fans, which stay off when the card is idling. Power is taken from both the PCIe slot and 1x 8-pin power connector.

Like other GTX 1070 Ti solutions before it, the Gigabyte GTX 1070 Ti WindForce 2X graphics card features a software toggle that activates a "Software OC Mode", which essentially activates a factory overclock that Gigabyte (like all other NVIDIA AIB partners) can't ship their GTX 1070 Ti with. The Core clock under "Gaming Mode" is 1,607 MHz base and 1,683 MHz boost, which are slightly brought up to 1,632 MHz base and 1,721 MHz boost under the "Software OC Mode". Memory clock stands at 8GB GDDR5 running at 8 GHz through a 256-bit bus. Display outputs are 1x Dual Link DVI-D, 1x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort.
