COUGAR Announces Two New Flagship FPS Gaming Mice - Minos X5 and Revenger S

COUGAR announces today the arrival to international markets of its two new FPS gaming mice: Revenger S and Minos X5. This pair of gaming input devices is the result of years of research, optimization and field testing with the single goal of helping gamers unleash all their gaming skills.

These two mice share the same powerful entrails, packing within themselves everything a gamer can ask for. The first piece of this dream configuration is the Pixart PMW3360 sensor, a piece of technology that has already become a byword for accuracy and one-to-one tracking. Building on that excellent base is COUGAR's fine-tuned electronic specifications and structure that grant both mice the ability to work with a 2000 Hz polling rate. This combination of specs is at the heart of these mice's superiority: The optical accuracy of the PMW3360 allows gamers to bring all their prowess to the game, while the 2000Hz refresh rate sends updated input data twice as fast as most competitors. Accuracy and fast response meet in a lethal combination that potentially allows gamers to react twice as fast as their rivals using non-2000 Hz mice.

Tt eSports Announces the Nemesis Switch Gaming Mouse

Tt eSports, Thermaltake's gaming peripherals division, has announced their new take on what an RGB, MOBA or MMO-oriented mouse should deliver. The Nemesis Switch Gaming Mouse features, as its distinguishing feature, a patented switch system that allows for the customization of up to 12 switch keys. Eight of those are available straight away on the left-hand side of the mouse, with four additional keys being hidden inside the mouse.

"But what good are they for if they're hidden and thus inaccessible?", you ask? That's a good question. That's where the patented system comes in: you simply push the panel where the eight side keys are held, and like magic, four other keys come from inside the mouse. Due to this lever system, you'll certainly lose time with the mechanism rolling inside the mouse and exposing either set of keys, so maybe you should take care which actions you configure these extra four keys with. The twelve macro-supporting programmable buttons are configured by Thermaltake's Tt eSports Plus+ mobile and PC application. The Tt eSports Plus+ app also stores activity logs, performance statistics, and other information.

Thermaltake eSPORTS Ventus X Plus Smart Gaming Mouse Announced

Yes, you read the title right. This is it, folks; it's arrived. The "smart" craze started with your "smart"phones and that has, in the meantime, risen to global domination in all kind of think-tanks and sci-fi scenarios has also arrived, quite literally, towards your gaming hands. The eSPORTS Ventus X Smart Gaming Mouse succeeds Thermaltake's previous Ventus X rodent, forgoing its ambidextrous design for one that's now definitely righter. It packs smart sensors that "track key mouse usage statistics such as click, movement and liftoff, which can be saved onto the cloud with social media integration for information sharing and review of these key performance criteria." (This also seems to me like a sensible way for someone to know whether you are on your PC or not simply through the mouse's feedback on these metrics, but I digress.) With Bluetooth support, the Ventus X Plus Smart (smarter) syncs this data with "mobile devices (iOS/Android) & PC via the Tt eSPORTS PLUS+ application and the Tt eSPORTS PLUS+ Community & Data Management Platform."

The Pulsefire is due out in April 2017 for under $50.

Speedlink to Release the 10-Button Omnivi Flagship Mouse

German company Speedlink is about to bring their own gaming flagship gaming mouse towards the US market, one that is arguably over-saturated. However, as times have shown again and again, there is always a little more space for some products that manage to distinguish themselves in the consumers' eye.

To that end, Speedlink is putting up its Omnivi gaming mouse up against the very best and most renowned in the industry, sporting an ergonomic, polarizing design that is meant to either work or not at all for its prospective users. This means its curves and body design are crafted in particular ways in an effort to provide superb grip and feel - to a limited set of right-handed users whose hands adapt to the mice as it was designed. Like all specific designs, it risks alienating part of the potential user base who simply doesn't possess the physical and hand posture characteristics that best work with this mouse; this being the reason why so many mice have rather "neutral", non-contoured designs - in an effort to appeal to a larger potential customer base.

With the MC 4000, CHERRY has gone for a high-quality, optical sensor that scans either 1,000 or 2,000 DPI (dots per inch). This allows the user to select the optimal resolution for a wide variety of daily tasks. The DPI setting will be indicated by two predefined colors that light the scroll wheel, side panels and the DPI switch: blue for 1,000 DPI and red for 2,000 DPI. Together with a high-speed motion detection of 1.5 meters per second (60 IPS) the CHERRY MC 4000 represents the ideal solution for high-speed professional use.

For those not streaming, the device gives you insights to your gameplay style, letting you improve your reflexes. A live-demo of Sentry was put up at CES, and we can tell you that it works! Available now, the Sentry is priced at 199€.
