Closer Examination
One of the exciting features on the MK802 is its variable bass boost, which works when it is used over Bluetooth. The bass boost's toggle switch is conveniently placed on the left ear cup, providing you with a fast option to dial the bass back up or down substantially.
One essential feature missing from this set is unfortunately noise cancellation. This would have had an impact on battery life, but is just so convenient when on the go. The omission is of course also something that helps them keep the price - all features considered - at a lowish $149.
1MORE's design department always does a nice job of adding small details that make their designs stand out. The use of chamfers and bare metal give this set of headphones some character.
Headbands are hard to get right, and while it seems 1MORE has put in a decent effort in terms of looks, comfort suffered. The headband is pretty good at trapping heat, which is a source of some discomfort during long listening sessions. The ear pads are a little better, but definitely not amongst the best.
