Introduction

The 1MORE Portable BT Speaker is the company's foray into the ever-growing wireless (Bluetooth) speaker market where tens of new models are being released on pretty much a daily basis. Best known for its excellent wired and wireless headphones, many of which we reviewed here at TechPowerUp, 1MORE figured they can utilize their expertise to put together a Bluetooth speaker that's going to be durable and practical while sounding good—all without breaking the bank.



Judging by the spec sheet only, the 1MORE Portable BT Speaker ticks all the boxes as far as compact Bluetooth speakers go. It's equipped with a combination of a 3.3" plane woofer and 1" tweeter with a respectable power output of 30 W, which should translate into enough volume for outdoor use. Instead of being built like a cylinder, 1MORE made its shape saucer-like for full 360° sound coverage. It weighs around 500 grams, so it's easy to carry around, and promises around 12 hours of playback on a single charge. It's even IPX4 certified, which means it's splash and sweat-proof and can as such safely be used next to a swimming pool or on a beach. That's a nice list of features for $99/€79, or $149/€129 should you opt for the Stereo Bundle for two of these speakers, which you can then wirelessly pair to work in stereo mode.
