It lacks a bit in overall performance, but has fully working protection features, compact dimensions, and won't force you to wear earplugs as long as it isn't pushed hard. The Gigabyte UD1000GM PG5 is the first available PSU with a 16-pin PCI-Express 5.0 connector. The only graphics card requiring such a connector is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, which also comes with an adapter, but the upcoming 4000 series will need it as well, so it is good to be ready.
The Seasonic Core GX-500 performs well and is silent under normal operating conditions. Its fully modular cable design and compact dimensions are great, too. If only you could find it at a lower price.
