The FSP Hydro G Pro 850 W is of terrific build quality and uses a modern platform, but something in its final recipe didn't turn out as planned. Overall performance isn't as good as with the competition, and the HG2-850 costs more than the popular Corsair RM850x or Seasonic Focus Plus Gold of similar capacity.

The Super Flower Leadex III with 650 W performs very well in all areas: load regulation, ripple suppression, efficiency, and transient response. On top of that, it is one of the quietest PSUs money can buy today and has two EPS connectors for power hungry CPUs and mainboards.

The Cooler Master Mastercase H500 represents the base mass-market model at the center of the H-series. With a price tag of around $100 versus $200 or more for the fancier variants, the classic H500 comes with a well-rounded set of features and retains the main design elements of the series very well. As such, you would never have to feel bad for having gone for the less elaborate option.

Zotac's GeForce RTX 2060 Super Mini is priced at $400, matching the NVIDIA Founders Edition. As the name suggests, it is a bit shorter than the FE, which should help improve compatibility with smaller cases. Unfortunately, the card isn't overclocked, and its power limit isn't increased either.

At the top of the mainstream stack, the MEG X570 ACE is competing in a tough bracket. With 2.5 Gb/s LAN, WiFi 6, and a VRM that is both sophisticated and overbuilt, the X570 ACE has a lot going for it. So does the competition, however, which is why MSI armed the ACE with a secret weapon: a heat pipe connection between the chipset and VRM heatsinks.
