Acer, in partnership with BIWIN Storage, brings us another DDR4 performance-grade memory kit. This Acer Predator Vesta series is the newest addition, building upon the best features of Acer Predator Apollo RGB line, and giving consumers even more reasons to choose Acer for that next computer build or memory upgrade.
While DDR5 is the hot new buzzword in the tech world, this hasn't stopped Acer from releasing the Predator Vesta RGB DDR4 memory series targeting the PC enthusiast community. Acer understands the intended market well, using Samsung B-Die ICs to capitalize on the low primary timings that are highly sought after in the overclocking community. The Acer Predator Vesta RGB lineup ranges from 3200 MT/s to 4000 MT/s and has listed DIMM sizes of 8 GB and 16 GB. In this review, we will cover the Predator Vesta RGB DDR4-3600 (2x 16 GB) kit rated for 3600 MT/s.
The Acer Predator Vesta RGB DDR4-3600 32 GB kit I have for review today has an Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) profile with 14-15-15-35 primary timings at 1.45 V. With eight independent lighting areas and 16 million color options, this Predator Vesta RGB kit also supports ASUS Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light, and ASRock Polychrome Sync software for maximum compatibility with different motherboard ARGB implementations. This memory kit is well suited for both AMD, and Intel-based users who want low latency memory, with potential headroom for overclocking. In this review, we will be testing the memory at its advertised speed before looking into what a bit of tuning can deliver in terms of extra performance. Without further ado, let's see how this Predator Vesta RGB kit stacks up to the competition!

The box design here emphasizes that it is a premium product. The presentation gives off a gamer vibe to better match Acer Predator branding. Across the top is the Predator brand logo and RGB badges to show support for ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync. The bottom right has a sticker with what should be inside the box. In this case, the sample sent is 32 GB of DDR4-3600.
The back of the box has a disclaimer with legal jargon, from my interpretation it states that nothing written on the box is considered legal grounds to sue Acer for misrepresentation. I believe this is a nice way to say that while Acer is the intellectual property owner, the Predator brand is licensed to BIWIN for use in production of this Vesta DDR4 memory kit.
After removing the outer sleeve and opening the box, the Acer Predator Vesta RGB DIMMs can be seen, held firmly in place inside the plastic shell to avoid scuffing during transportation.
