Value and Conclusion

  • The Apevia X-Cruiser sells for around 65 USD. That is a very good price, but do not expect any great innovations inside the case. The case costs about €80 in Europe at big etailers like Scan UK because of different specification and other certifications (like CE and RoHS).
  • Great looking front
  • Door is of high quality
  • Good price
  • Up to 5 fans can be connected and controlled
  • Available in multiple colors, with or without power supply
  • Gauge for volume including a a control dial
  • Temperature gauge included
  • Nice blue light - looks great
  • Two quiet, blue LED fans included
  • Completely OEM inside layout
  • Back sports a 8cm fan - a 12cm would be nice
  • Up to 5 connected fans cannot be controlled individually
The Apevia X-Cruiser looks great from the outside and the gauges are a very nice and unique feature. The inside of the case may disappoint at first, as you will not find anything but a completely standard layout. The small price tag is a great selling point for such a nice case, considering that layout is proven and works well. Apevia chose to keep the low price and invest in the beautiful outside and overall look & feel instead of the interior. That is a wise choice - this case will definitely draw more looks than many other enclosures of a similar price point.
