The fabric upholstery is delicate and almost feels velvety to the touch. It also feels more comfortable on exposed skin than PU. The fabric is a better option than PU even in summer. However, keeping this chair spotless won't be easy, but cleaning it isn't hard either since some mild detergent and a wet cloth will do the job. It is only available in this color combination.
The high-density PU foam makes for a comfortable sitting experience and is not too rigid for my liking. I couldn't find anyone over 105 kg (231.48 lb.) to try out this chair. As such, I don't know whether anyone weighing more than 105 kg will find this chair comfortable. Dimensions are broad, but 160 kg (352.74 lb) is considerably more than 105 kg, so the contoured edges might get in the way. No doubt, the raised edges attribute to the sports bucket seat design, but limit the chair's dimensions. The tall backrest certainly is a plus for taller users because of the support. As far as the two complementary cushions, whether someone will use them or not is a matter of height and posture. Not all users are alike, and smaller ones don't reach the headrest.
I enjoyed the spongy and comfortable armrests even though they are not 4D. Oddly shaped, both keep the elbows in place well, but tend to move clockwise on their own from time to time. The two different sets of casters are another great touch since your floor type may work better with one over the other. The Ymir has a good balance and its massive and elaborate five-star base keeps it from inadvertently moving around, yet moving it around intentionally is a breeze.
