Packaging and Accessories
AQIRYS has a celestial theme going for with its product names and the product boxes show it off to a degree. Here we get a black background with the brand logo and product name on the front in addition to salient features and a large render of the keyboard lit up. More features and product specs are seen on the back in addition to a more detailed illustration showing off the various components that come together to make the Libertas keyboard. There's a lot of info on the box, or rather the outer sleeve, which has two seals on the side and flaps that help keep the inner box in place during transit.
The inner box is simpler in design and continues the black cardboard aesthetic with a lot of gaming lingo in addition to a huge AQIRYS logo. A double flap on the side keeps this box closed and inside we see a welcome note and plenty of thick foam for added protection. The various accessories are neatly placed in individual foam compartments underneath the keyboard as seen above.
We get a multi-language user guide (scroll down to the bottom of
the product page to download a PDF version if interested) and some stickers as far as paperwork go. AQIRYS includes a set of pre-lubed customized HaiMu Ocean Blue Tactile switches to use on any set of keys you wish, although I am not sure why you'd use clicky switches on a keyboard that's being marketed for its silent operation. There is also an oversized cleaning brush which opens up to reveal a tool for more precise keyboard maintenance as well as a set of add-on foam dampening pads for the space bar key. We also get a metal wire-style keycap puller as well as a standalone switch remover tool with a thick, somewhat tacky finish on the body. There's the expected USB Type-A to Type-C cable for connectivity, and rounding off the unboxing experience is a set of replacement keycaps and a volume knob cover.
