The ASRock B550 Taichi features a 16-phase VRM configuration using ISL6617A doublers for all phases.


ASRock is using a Renesas RAA 229004 PWM controller to drive the B550 Taichi.


The ASRock B550 Taichi uses Vishay SIC654 power stages for all 16 phases. There are fourteen stages for the Vcore and two stages for the SOC. These power stages each support a maximum of 50 A of continuous current. When paired with the chunky VRM cooling solution, the B550 Taichi should be a capable overclocker.

The ASRock B550 Taichi has a maximum output of 800 A, with 700 A dedicated to Vcore.
