The software included on the driver disk is simple and concise, containing all the drivers necessary to get started. ASRock has included some bloatware, including Norton Security and Google Chrome. While I understand that ASRock gets kickbacks for these inclusions, I feel that they should be relegated to their own tab of the menu. It is highly inconvenient to have to manually install all the drivers because there is no way to remove Chrome or Norton Security from the install all option.
As for utilities, the ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate keeps it simple. The driver disk contains only two programs, ASRock restart to UEFI and ASRRGBLED. The first is a very simple application for restarting straight into the BIOS, though I would note that in my testing, it was not always reliable. The second is ASRock's app for RGB LED control, and it is very well designed, with a simple menu and plenty of customization options. Notably absent from these utilities is any kind of fan control. ASRock does offer the A-Tuning utility over their app store, which includes fan control and overclocking options.
