The ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara features a 24+2+1 phase VRM configuration, these are suspected to be configured as teamed phases, but a oscilloscope is required for confirmation.
Update: ASRock HQ can confirmed that the Vcore power stages are in a teamed configuration.
High-resolution version of the VRM is also available (
FRONT).
ASRock is using a Renesas RAA229628 PWM controller to drive the X670E Taichi power stages.
The ASRock X670E Taichi uses Renesas RAA22010540 power stages for the 24 Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 105 A of continuous current. For the SoC phase, ASRock is using a two Renesas RAA22010540 105 A power stages as well. VDDIO_MEM_S3 can be seen along side the rest. It is a single Vishay SIC43 power stage.
The ASRock X670E Taichi Carrara has a maximum output of 2,730 A, with 2,520 A dedicated to Vcore.
Down near the PCH is the VDD_MISC is using a RAA 229621 for the controller and a single ILS99360 60 A power stage.
