Storage Performance
The ASRock Z490 PG Velocita has a good complement of internal storage options, including eight SATA 6 Gb/s ports and additional internal USB headers. I would have liked to see another M.2 slot. While there are technically three, one is wired for PCIe 4.0 and cannot be used in conjunction with the top PCIe 3.0 slot.
ASRock utilizes two ASMedia controllers to achieve the connectivity the ASRock Z490 PG Velocita offers.
