Board Software
Once I ran the install disc, a huge amount of software was installed, yet many of those options are familiar, such as ASUS AI Suite and the Boot Setting Tool. AI Suite has a bunch of new options for the new platform.
There's an ASUS-branded version of CPU-Z, while one of the new apps is ASUS Lighting Control, which allows you to control how the LEDs under the board's PCH cooler work. There are many different colors available, as well as several different intensity functions (similar to those found on NVidia GPUs).
There are controls for the audio and WiFi.
There's streaming software to stream data to phones, and cloud-creation software so you can share data within your own network.
There's a tool to help you register your new ASUS hardware, and a bit of web storage where you might store drivers and such for future retrieval.
There's also Deamon Tools Pro and WinZip, which most of us will have need of as well. All in all, ASUS offers a fairly well-featured set that covers every aspect of how the board operates.
