We teamed all Ethernet ports up to make sure the NAS was as fast as it could be in our multi-client tests.
The NAS performed well with multiple clients, proving that its CPU is up to the task.
Here are some screenshots of the activity monitor during our multi-client tests. CPU utilization was rather high, but such wasn't the case with RAM utilization.
The CPU reached 62°C. This is quite high given its load wasn't even close to 100% during these tests. We didn't run into any problems due to it in any of our test session which lasted for quite a while. However, the temperatures of our HDDs exceeded 40°C in our tough testing conditions. We would like to see their temperatures max out at 35°C considering these are low capacity HDDs which don't get as hot as larger capacity ones.
The average response time in our multi-client OLAP tests was lower than expected since there was a weird performance drop with three clients.
