Packaging

Well, be quiet! sticks with their tried and true packaging. The box itself is black with, you guessed it, a black AIO on it. A higher contrast packaging would be nice, but be quiet! has a certain aesthetic, so I can understand their decision. Regardless, the cooler is featured front and center, along with the illuminated CPU block. This specific model is also mentioned. A turn to the left side has a QR code you can scan for product information. The back is where you will find the features listed, such as the doubly decoupled pump, Pure Wings 2 fans, refill port, etc.

Turning to the right side, you will find the technical specifications, which are par the course. Meanwhile, the top and bottom are the same and simply have the product name and radiator size listed.

Contents

With the box open, we are greeted by the Pure Loop 280 mm AIO encased in a cardboard tray. Unlike most AIOs, the radiator, rather than being sealed in a plastic bag, is encased in another cardboard layer. This extra layer of protection is nice since it should help prevent bent fins.

Intel and AMD socket support is fine, with be quiet! listing support for today's mainstream sockets. It should be noted that while the cooler does feature LEDs in the CPU block, the cooler itself does not support ARGB lighting. It's simply a white LED ring on the CPU block and nothing more, so there are no miscellaneous cables to deal with. However, there is one major difference here compared to most AIOs, and that is be quiet!'s choice to include extra coolant.
