Installation
Installing be quiet!'s Pure Loop 280 is fairly easy. Start by preparing the backplate—slide the backplate bolts into place and use the rubber O-rings to secure them. With that done, position the backplate on the motherboard and secure it with the screw pillars.
Now, secure the mounting arms to the screw pillars and apply thermal paste before attaching the CPU block to the motherboard.
Next attach the radiator to the chassis and install the fans. With that done, all that remains is to plug everything in and tidy up the wiring.
Overall, the installation was relatively easy, and I would rate it a 10 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest). The metal backplate and solid design mean there is no shifting or twisting of the pump, and once installed, the remaining procedure of mounting the radiator and fans is extremely easy and straightforward. In general, it's just an easy cooler to install, at least on Intel's mainstream platforms.
