The AMD FX-8800P is pulling considerably more than 15 watts. However, a maximum of 37 watts is still impressively efficient. The VRM was also much cooler than I would have expected. The little fan on the CPU heatsink spins constantly, but isn't as loud as you would expect, even on an open bench.
