The BIOSTAR X670E VALKYRIE features a 18+2+2 phase VRM configuration. These are setup as "teamed" power stages, resulting in every two receiving the same PWM signal.

High-resolution version of the VRM photos are also available (FRONT).

BIOSTAR is using a Renesas RAA229628 PWM controller to drive the X670E VALKYRIE power stages.

The BIOSTAR X670E VALKYRIE uses Renesas RAA22010540 power stages for the 18 Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 105 A of continuous current. For the SoC phase, BIOSTAR is using two Renesas ISL99360 60 A power stages as well, for the SoC power management. VDDIO_MEM_S3 can be seen along side the rest of the VRM setup. It is a single Sinopower SM4364NAKP 60 A power stage.

The BIOSTAR X670E VALKYRIE has a maximum output of 2,010 A, with 1,890 A dedicated to Vcore.

On one end of the VRM is the VDD_MISC power. This is using a RAA 229613 for the controller and two ILS99360 60 A power stages.
