Aerocool

Aerocool has a bit smaller but very colorful booth, packed with a lot of new cases. They have a complete line-up of aluminum cases showcased. Most of these feature a small, animated display which is perfectly incorporated into the front of the case. Aerocool offers the same type of case without any front display but same general shape. One of the most interesting features on some of their cases are touch buttons. These are backlit, electronic power & reset buttons which react to touch and do not need to pressed down in any way.


The new all aluminum lineup also includes full size HTPC/desktop cases. These are also available in black or silver. All of these cases are produced by Lian-Li, so these new enclosures are of very high quality.


Their line-up of small form factor cases has also been expanded with two models in multiple colors. The Racer looks a bit like a race car and a square variant. Both feature a small temperature LCD and the Racer series seems to be based on the same layout as the Aspire X-QPack we reviewed. Aerocool also offers drive bay accessories like card readers and LCD to monitor temperature and control fan speed of the system. The newest addition features a flip up LCD display with a card reader below. This is great, as it uses a single 5.25 inch drive bay instead of two.


Aerocool also extended the turbine based cases with a new design. These cases are made of steel and plastic. The most interesting feature of these cases is the tilted fan, blowing air into the center of the case.
