Packaging

Cooler Master ships the Cosmos C700M in a fully colored cardboard box. You will find an image of the chassis at its face, while the rear holds quite a bit of text. Turning the package 90° to either side, you will find the enclosure's specifications on one and another shot of the case on the other side. This image is essentially a 1:1 shot of the case to make sure you can gauge quite nicely how tall the Cosmos C700M is.

Two thick Styrofoam spacers hold the chassis in place, and a heavy-duty plastic bag has also been applied to keep fingerprints and scratches away. As I already mentioned with the Cosmos 25th Anniversary Edition: it would have been a nice touch to find the case in a black cloth bag just like in the good old days.

Contents

Cooler Master ships the chassis with some zip ties, black screws, a cleaning cloth, some plates for mounting additional parts inside the chassis, and a short 4-pin RGB lighting connector. There is also an extra 3.5" hard-drive tray and a plate with which to cover up the rear of the chassis should you want to utilize the "chimney setup" within the chassis. You will also find a PCIe x16 ribbon cable to use with the built-in presentation stand.

You will also find a pretty compact instruction manual with a ton of illustrations inside, and a basic pamphlet which details some of the possible layouts with the C700M.
