MasterPlus Software
Automatic Firmware Update
To control both the ARGB lighting and what is displayed on the display in the front, you have to download Cooler Master MasterPlus. Once installed, on first startup, you are greeted by a simple but effective update screen that auto-detects your hardware and suggests the new version.
The updater launches in a separate window and gives you a useful view of the current version, followed by the update process.
This user journey is concluded nicely by returning the user to the previous screen and showing a check mark for completion and that all went well.
MasterPlus Interface
The MasterPlus software interface looks quite good, with a standard layout utilizing main menus on the left side and sub menus across the top of the dialog window. It aligns with the company's brand color and is smart enough to detect which compatible devices you have installed. These show not just as text but images as well, which is helpful in identifying what you are about to adjust.
MasterPlus Display Options
While adjusting the ARGB colors via the software is nice, we will focus on the display capabilities of the HAF 700 EVO. Here you can cycle through a wide variety of data to be displayed on the circular screen, with an accurate representation of what it looks like shown in the MasterPlus application. The core areas are CM Logo, System, Time, Multimedia, and Multi Display, each with their own subset of screens you may apply.
The Multi Display option rotates through a set of screens for an overview of a programmed data set without having to jump back into the app.

Below, you may take a look at the start-up animation Cooler Master provides with the display, as well as photos of the various possible data sets. Lastly, there is another video for your viewing pleasure, to see the animations some of these presets come with.
