A Closer Look

Cooler Master certainly didn't break the mold when it comes to the radiator for the MasterLiquid PL240 Flux. What we have here is an aluminium radiator with a fin density, or FPI, of 20. That is right on par with the majority of liquid coolers. The radiator fittings are shiny and black, with the tubing, which measures roughly 350 mm, featuring a black braided sleeve for improved visual aesthetics.

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid PL240 Flux uses a pump that has a traditional circular design with a rotatable top. Its swivel fittings are spaced far enough apart to offer a reasonable degree of motion, with the ARGB and power cables being on the opposite side so as not to cause any further limitations when routing the tubing. Our sample had a slightly convex base with visible machining marks; however, they were not as pronounced as expected. The overall fit and finish of the base can be described as above average.

The Sickleflow fans are, of course, ARGB illuminated. They feature an RPM range of 0–2300 and have a maximum CFM of 72.37.
