Packaging

The packaging is large and very long, although the PSU has rather small dimensions for its capacity. On the front the model number is highlighted with the series name (AX) written with gold font, indicating the Gold efficiency of the PSU. On the rear side of the box we find various useful information such as connector count, efficiency and output noise levels.

The PSU is well protected. Besides two layers of packaging foam a high quality cloth bag protects it from scratches etc. The rest of the bundle includes a nylon pouch that holds all modular cables, a power cord, a set of fixing bolts and a user's manual.

Exterior

As you can see the PSU has quite compact dimensions for an 850W unit. It features a light matte finish that is fingerprint prone and the paint job is very good and fairly scratch resistant. The rear exhaust utilizes the classic and effective honeycomb design.
